Stuart Flinders (born 1960, in Bolton, Lancashire) is a journalist, reporter and occasional presenter who used to work for BBC North West Tonight.
Flinders grew up in Bolton and is a supporter of Bolton Wanderers F.C. [1]
In 1991, he joined BBC North West Tonight after being hired by Dave Guest. [2] In 2008, he spent six months working for the BBC News channel and presented some weekend bulletins on BBC One during that period. He also occasionally presents BBC Radio 4 programme You and Yours . Before working for the BBC, he spent a short period working for printed media in Australia. He also regularly presented concerts for BBC Radio 3 for around 10 years. [3]
He became the longest serving reporter on BBC North West Tonight. [4] On 12 October 2020, after nearly 30 years on the programme, he left the BBC and the programme. [5] In November 2020, he anchored the US election results coverage for Sky News.
Timothy Westwood is a British DJ and presenter. He is often referred to by other DJs and artists appearing on his shows simply as Westwood. He was described by The Guardian in 2022 as "a veteran of the hip-hop scene whose opinions have been able to make or break upcoming artists for more than 30 years". Investigations by the BBC and The Guardian into Westwood's sexual conduct found seven women who accused Westwood of sexual violence, as described in the BBC Three documentary Tim Westwood: Abuse of Power.

The World Tonight is a British current affairs radio programme broadcast on BBC Radio 4, every weekday evening, which started out as an extension of the 10 pm news. Ritula Shah was the main presenter until February 27, 2023, usually presenting the first three days of the week. The programme utilises other BBC broadcasters including David Eades, Carolyn Quinn, James Coomarasamy, Roger Hearing, Samira Ahmed and Felicity Evans to regularly present on Thursdays, Fridays and in Shah's absence. Between 1989 and 2012, the main presenter was Robin Lustig.
