Studio 54 was a nightclub at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas that opened in December 1997 and closed in February 2012. [1]

The nightclub displayed some memorabilia from the original Studio 54, including photos of celebrities at the New York City nightclub. [2]

It was visited on opening night by Elton John, one of the most frequent guests at the original location.[ citation needed ]

The venue is mentioned in the song Vegas Two Times by the Stereophonics.[ citation needed ]

TABU Ultra Lounge opened in Las Vegas at the MGM Grand in 2004 and closed in April 2013. It was a 3,300 square feet (310 m2) venue with a capacity of 350 people. It won the "Best Lounge" from Club Systems International's prestigious Club World Awards in 2004, 2005 and 2006, "Best Lounge" and "Best Bottle Service" by the 2009 Club World Awards, as well as the "Best Ultra Lounge – staff pick" by Las Vegas Weekly's "Vegas Best of 2009".
