The Suzuki Bolan, also known in Pakistan as the "Cary Dabba", [1] is a minivan manufactured by Pak Suzuki Motors, part of the Seventh Generation Suzuki Carry series.
The engine of the Suzuki Bolan is based on the ST90V version of the Suzuki Carry (also known as Hi-Roof) with the three-cylinder F8B 796 CC carburettor engine with an output of 37 HP (28 kW). The 4-speed manual transmission allows for a top speed of 120 km/h (75 mph). As of February 2024, it is available in three versions: The Euro II, VX and VXR. The better-equipped VXR and Euro II have factory-fitted air conditioning. [2] [3] [4]
The Bolan is widely used as an ambulance all over Pakistan. The Bolan is particularly used as a taxi in Abbottabad, Havelian, Haripur, Mansehra and in northern sides of Pakistan, alongside usage with the Suzuki Mehran across all of Pakistan. [5] [6] [7]
The Suzuki Bolan has sold 199,052 units from 2007-2017, with a price averaging between Rs. 1,075,000 To 1,134,000 ($3,863.80-4,075.86) with an additional 21,738 units sold in 2018. [8] of the Euro II version. [9] [10]

The Suzuki Ravi is a pickup truck version of the Suzuki Bolan usually used for business or transport purposes. The Suzuki Ravi has a dimension of 127.3 inches (3.23 m) by 54.9 inches (1.39 m) by 65 inches (1.7 m), and its seating capacity is 2 people, with a maximum loading capacity of 600 kilograms (1,300 lb). three-cylinder F8B Engine with a 796 CC carburettor engine with an output of 37 HP(27.5 kW) at 5000 RPM. Like the Bolan, its 4-speed manual transmission allows for a top speed of 120 km/h (75 mph). [12]

Ever since 2021, rumours on the discontinuation have been uncovered, which are due to the Engineering Development Board of Pakistan ruling that all cars must have airbags or they will be forced to discontinue. [13] However, it is speculated that Suzuki has no plans to update Bolans with airbags, leading to speculation the Bolan might be replaced with the Suzuki Every. [14]
The Holden Astra is a small car formerly marketed by Holden. The first couple of generations of Astra were made only for Australia, and was a derivative of the locally produced Nissan Pulsar. With the Button car plan coming into effect, it was replaced by the Holden Nova, a rebadged Toyota Corolla.

The Suzuki Cultus is a supermini car produced by the Japanese manufacturer Suzuki from 1983 to 2016. The nameplate is currently used as a rebadged second-generation Suzuki Celerio in Pakistan since 2017. It was first presented at the 25th Tokyo Motor Show, formally introduced to Japan in 1983 and ultimately sold in seven countries across three generations and marketed worldwide as the Suzuki Swift for the first two generations. An alliance formed in 1981 between General Motors, Suzuki and Isuzu allowed GM to market the Cultus as a captive import internationally under more than a dozen nameplates including the Geo Metro, Chevrolet Sprint, Pontiac Firefly and Holden Barina. It was also known as the M-car within GM.

The Suzuki Carry is a kei truck produced by the Japanese automaker Suzuki. The microvan version was originally called the Carry van until 1982 when the passenger van versions were renamed as the Suzuki Every. In Japan, the Carry and Every are kei cars but the Suzuki Every Plus, the bigger version of Every, had a longer bonnet for safety purposes and a larger 1.3-liter 86-hp (63 kW) four-cylinder engine. They have been sold under myriad different names in several countries, including those with Chevrolet and Ford badges.

The Suzuki Kizashi is a mid-size car manufactured by Japanese automaker Suzuki. It was unveiled in the United States on July 30, 2009. The Kizashi went on sale in Japan on October 21, 2009, in North America on December 1, 2009, and in Australia and New Zealand on May 11, 2010. It is the first mid-size Suzuki automobile sold in the Australian market. In February 2011, the Kizashi became available to the Indian market. The car was also available in European markets.
The automotive industry in Pakistan is one of the smallest but fastest-growing industries in the country, growing by 171% between 2014 and 2018. It accounts for 3% of Pakistan's GDP and employed a workforce of over 3.5 million people as of 2018. Pakistan is the 23rd largest producer of automobiles. However, after the 2008 elections, the dollar started depreciating, and due to bad governance, many automakers began to halt production, with some exiting Pakistan. Currently, the auto market is dominated by Honda, Toyota, and Suzuki. However, on 19 March 2016, Pakistan passed a second "Auto Policy 2016-21," which offers tax incentives to new automakers to establish manufacturing plants in the country. In response, Renault, Nissan, Proton Holdings, Kia, SsangYong, Volkswagen, FAW, and Hyundai have expressed interest in entering the Pakistani market. MG JW Automobile Pakistan has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Morris Garages (MG) Motor UK Limited, owned by SAIC Motor, to bring electric vehicles to Pakistan. NLC signed an agreement with Mercedes-Benz to manufacture Mercedes Actros trucks in Pakistan. Pakistan has not enforced any automotive safety standards or model upgrade policies. A few older vehicle models, including the Bolan and Ravi, continue to be sold by Suzuki. On 8 July 2021, Jolta Electric launched the production of electric motorcycles.
The Suzuki Celerio is a hatchback city car produced by the Japanese manufacturer Suzuki since 2008. Originally a rebadged Alto/A-Star city car for some markets, the Celerio was made as a global nameplate and a standalone model replacing the A-Star in 2014. Suzuki unveiled the second-generation Celerio at the Auto Expo 2014 in India, after being previewed as the A:Wind concept model at the Thailand International Motor Expo in November 2013.
