Swisslog Holding AG is a globally active Swiss company specializing in integrated automation solutions[ buzzword ] for warehouses, distribution centers and hospitals. Swisslog is a global company headquartered in Buchs/Aarau (Switzerland) and one of the world's leading logistics automation companies. Swisslog delivers data-driven & robotic solutions for logistics automation alongside service concepts. [3]

Swisslog supplies industry-specific solutions[ buzzword ] for automated warehouses and distribution centers. Its core industries are grocery, retail and e-commerce, food and beverages, and industrials.

Since the end of 2019, the Swisslog Healthcare business unit has focused on target customers, such as healthcare facilities and hospitals, with an independent brand. Swisslog is simultaneously expanding its position in the areas of intralogistics, production logistics and supply chain alongside the Swisslog brand. [4]

History

Swisslog traces its roots back to Sprecher + Schuh AG, founded in Aarau in 1900 and split into two separate entities in 1985. After a successful public tender offer by KUKA, Swisslog merged with a KUKA subsidiary at the end of July 2015 and was delisted from the Swiss stock exchange. Swisslog is now part of the KUKA Group.
