The Theban Tomb TT36 is located in El-Assasif, part of the Theban Necropolis, on the west bank of the Nile, opposite to Luxor. [2] It is the burial place of the ancient Egyptian Ibi, who was "Chief Steward of the Adorer of the God" (Nitoqret I), during the reign of Psamtik I during the 26th dynasty. [3]
The tomb decoration in this tomb was copied from the tomb of another noble called Ibi, from the Old Kingdom cemetery at Deir el-Gabrawi. This is typical of the Saite Period, which tended to echo the decoration of previous periods of Egyptian history.
The tomb is entered via a flight of steps that run parallel to the main axis. At the foot of these steps is an antechamber, which is decorated with scenes of Ibi adoring Ra-Horakhty. There is also a false door, echoing Old Kingdom decoration. A doorway leads from the middle of the right hand wall into what was a pillared hall (these pillars have since been destroyed). This room shows Ibi dressed as an ancient noble, watching the work of craftsmen and dancing girls. [2]
The right-hand wall has a doorway that leads into what was once an open court. This is decorated on the right-hand wall with a hunting scene, and on the left-hand wall Ibi and his father sit whilst offerings are placed in tables in front of them. From this hall several chambers lead off, one to the burial-shaft. These chambers have Ptolemaic paintings, and show that the tomb was reused at this time.
The Theban Tomb TT96 is located in Sheikh Abd el-Qurna. It forms part of the Theban Necropolis, situated on the west bank of the Nile opposite Luxor. The edifice is the burial place of the ancient Egyptian noble, Sennefer and wife Meryt.

The Theban Tomb TT15 is located in Dra' Abu el-Naga', part of the Theban Necropolis, on the west bank of the Nile, opposite to Luxor. It is the burial place of the ancient Egyptian Tetiky, who was Mayor of Thebes, during the reign of Ahmose I, during the early Eighteenth Dynasty.
The Theban Tomb TT42 is located in Sheikh Abd el-Qurna, part of the Theban Necropolis, on the west bank of the Nile, opposite to Luxor. It is the burial place of the ancient Egyptian Amenmose, who title was Captain of Troops, Eye of the King in Retenu, he is buried alongside his wife, Henuttaui.
The Theban Tomb TT67 is located in Sheikh Abd el-Qurna. It forms part of the Theban Necropolis, situated on the west bank of the Nile opposite Luxor. The tomb is the burial place of the ancient Egyptian official Hapuseneb, who was High Priest of Amun during the New Kingdom reign of Hatshepsut.
The Theban Tomb TT17 is located in Dra Abu el-Naga, part of the Theban Necropolis, on the west bank of the Nile, opposite to Luxor. It is the burial place of the ancient Egyptian noble named Nebamun, who lived during the 18th Dynasty, during the reign of Amenhotep II. Nebamun was a scribe and a physician to the King.

The Theban Tomb TT43 is located in Sheikh Abd el-Qurna, part of the Theban Necropolis, on the west bank of the Nile, opposite to Luxor. It is the burial place of the ancient Egyptian Neferronpet, whose title was Overseer of the kitchen of the Lord of the Two Lands. He dates to the time of Amenhotep II from the Eighteenth Dynasty of Egypt, and his tomb was built at the time of Amenhotep III. It is an unfinished tomb, so there are only some wall paintings and most are not finished and it is only in one room. It is an incredibly small tomb in Egypt.
The Theban Tomb TT47 is located in El-Khokha, part of the Theban Necropolis, on the west bank of the Nile, opposite to Luxor.
The Theban Tomb TT48 is located in El-Khokha, part of the Theban Necropolis, on the west bank of the Nile, opposite to Luxor. TT48 was the burial place of the ancient Egyptian named Amenemhat called Surer, who was a Chief Steward, At the head of the King, Overseer of the Cattle of Amun. Amenemhat called Surer dates to the time of Amenhotep III from the middle of the Eighteenth Dynasty of Egypt. He was a son of Ith-taui, who was an overseer of the cattle of Amun and the lady Mut-tuy.
The Theban Tomb TT49 is located in El-Khokha. It forms part of the Theban Necropolis, situated on the west bank of the Nile opposite Luxor. TT49 was the burial place of the ancient Egyptian official Neferhotep, who was a Chief Scribe of Amun. Neferhotep lived during the reign of Tutankhamen, Ay and Horemheb, at the end of the Eighteenth Dynasty of Egypt. He was a son of Neby, who was a servant of Amun and the lady Iuy. His wife was named Merytre
