Floyd Elliot Wray is an American country music singer, known professionally as Collin Raye, and previously as Bubba Wray. Under the latter name, he recorded as a member of the band The Wrays between 1983 and 1987. He made his solo debut in 1991 as Collin Raye with the album All I Can Be, which produced his first Number One hit in "Love, Me". All I Can Be was the first of four consecutive albums released by Raye to achieve platinum certification in the United States for sales of one million copies each. Raye maintained several Top Ten hits throughout the rest of the decade and into 2000. 2001's Can't Back Down was his first album that did not produce a Top 40 country hit, and he was dropped by his record label soon afterward. He did not record another studio album until 2005's Twenty Years and Change, released on an independent label.
Nina Rachel Gordon Shapiro, known as Nina Gordon, is an American singer, songwriter, and guitarist. She co-founded the alternative rock band Veruca Salt and played on their first two studio albums, American Thighs (1994) and Eight Arms to Hold You (1997). During that time, Gordon wrote the band's hit singles "Seether" and "Volcano Girls". He also released 45s and albums with GRT Records and then on Sunbird Records as well as on Sunset Records. His hits included "Personality" that reached #29 in April-May 1975. It was cover of the 1959 Lloyd Price Pop/R&B hit. Mitchell's duet with Jerri Kelly "I Can't Help Myself " reached #65 in Jan-Feb 1975, a cover of the 1965 Pop/R&B The Four Tops hit.
I Wouldn't Want You Any Other Way is a studio album by American recording artist Wanda Jackson. It was released in September 1972 via Capitol Records and contained ten tracks of country music. The album was Jackson's nineteenth released in her career. Four singles were spawned from the album, including the title track. However, only "Back Then", "I Already Know " and "I'll Be Whatever You Say" placed on the American country music chart. The album would later re-released to digital markets several decades later.
