"Take Off" is the debut Japanese single by South Korean boy band, 2PM. This single was released on May 18, 2011 in 4 editions: CD+DVD, CD+Photobook, CD only limited and a Regular edition. The song was used as ending song theme for the first 12 episodes of Season 1 of the Blue Exorcist anime series. [1] It peaked no. 4 in Oricon's Weekly singles chart with 59,059 sold in the first week. [2]

<i>Blue Exorcist</i> (season 1) First season of the Blue Exorcist anime television series

Blue Exorcist is an anime television series based on the manga of the same name by Kazue Kato. The first season is directed by Tensai Okamura and produced by A-1 Pictures. The season began broadcasting in Japan on MBS TV and TBS Television on April 17, 2011, and ended on October 2 of that same year. The series was originally scheduled to start airing on April 10, 2011, however due to the 2011 Tōhoku earthquake and tsunami, the series' initial broadcast was delayed by a week. The episodes were simulcast with English subtitles online via Hulu, Anime News Network, and Crunchyroll, starting on April 20, 2011. Aniplex of America released Blue Exorcist on DVD in four sets, starting with the first DVD on October 18, 2011.
