Career

Tapas has started his career as an actor in film Pagal Premi in 2007. [2] Then worked as an assistant director in Suna Chadhei Mo Rupa Chadhei in 2009. [3] Tapas Sargharia has directed Odia language films like Chal Tike Dusta Heba , Hero No.1, Tu Mo Love Story and Ishq Tu Hi Tu . [4]

Dukhiram Swain was an Indian film and television actor. He was one of the most popular villains in Odia cinema and played a variety of roles most notably as the antagonist in many Odia films and various roles in television serials. He was considered to be one amongst the club of natural actors. He won the National Film Award for Shesha Shrabana (1976), the Orissa State Film Award for Best Supporting Actor and several "Best Villain" awards from State Film Awards and the Odisha Sangeet Natak Akademi. He was honoured with the Jayadeva Purashkar of Odisha.

Apart from Odia films, he composed music for Odia daily shops, Bhajans and Jatra songs. In 2009, Anand worked as a music director for the Hindi film Dekha Bhai Dekh in 2019, he composed music for Bollywood film Luv U Turn. Apart from Odia and Hindi films, he composed music for Marathi and Bengali films. He composed the 2023 Men's FIH Hockey World Cup anthem.

Humane Sagar also transliterated as "Human Sagar", is an Indian playback singer who works mostly in Ollywood Industry. He has won the reality singing competition "Voice of Odisha Season 2" in 2012.

Prem Kumar: Salesman of the year is a 2018 Action Odia language film directed by Tapas Sargharia and produced under banner Tarang Cine Productions. The movie stars Anubhav Mohanty, Tamanna Vyas and Shivani in lead roles. The movie is a remake of 2016 Punjabi movie Ambarsariya.

Chal Tike Dusta Heba is a 2019 Odia language film co-written and directed by Tapas Sargharia. The screenplay is written by Debidutta Mohanty. The film stars Mahima, Sayal and Rishan are in lead roles. The film is a teenage love story.
