Temirtas Zhussupov (born 15 January 1988) [1] is a Kazakh boxer. He participated at the 2021 AIBA World Boxing Championships, being awarded the gold medal in the minimumweight event. [2] Zhussupov was honored the Best Boxer of the Year by the Kazakhstan Boxing Federation in 2018. [3]

The arena is located in the north of punched Ryskulov Avenue, to the west from Momyshuly street in the Alatau District.

Kazakhstan competed at the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, from 5 to 21 August 2016. It was the nation's sixth consecutive appearance at the Summer Olympics in the post-Soviet era. The National Olympic Committee of the Republic of Kazakhstan fielded a roster of 104 athletes, 55 men and 49 women, to compete across seventeen different sports at these Games, the smallest Summer Olympic team since the nation's debut in Atlanta 1996. Moreover, Kazakhstan did not send teams in any of the team sports for the first time in twenty years. Track and field accounted for the largest number of athletes on the Kazakh squad, with 25 entries. There was a single competitor each in slalom canoeing, track cycling, fencing, and table tennis.

Dinmuhammed Qanatuly Qudaibergen known professionally as Dimash Qudaibergen or Dimash Kudaibergen is a Kazakh singer, songwriter and multinstrumentalist. He has composed a large part of his repertoire, participating in the musical production and incorporating traditional Kazakh instruments into many of his productions.

Subedar Manish Kaushik is an Indian boxer who completes in the lightweight division. He is employed with Indian Army as a Junior Commissioned Officer (JCO). Kaushik won the gold medal at the Doha International Boxing Tournament, in his first international appearance. Two years later, Manish won gold at the 2017 National Boxing Games. Manish Kaushik later went to represent India in 2018 Commonwealth Games, winning the silver medal. He represented India in the lightweight division in the 2020 Summer Olympics. Manish hails from the village of Devsar in the Bhiwani district of Haryana. Manish Kaushik won abronze in the 63 kg category at World Championships.

The 2022 IBA Women's World Boxing Championships was held in Istanbul, Turkey from 8 to 20 May 2022.

Makhmud Sabyrkhan is a Kazakh boxer. He competed at the 2021 AIBA World Boxing Championships, winning the silver medal in the bantamweight event. Sabyrkan was also awarded a gold medal in the 2021 Boxam International Boxing Tournament in Spain, defeating Gabriel Escobar.

Alua Balkibekova is a Kazakh boxer. She participated at the 2014 AIBA Youth World Boxing Championships, being awarded the bronze medal in the women's flyweight event. In the same year, Balkibekova participated at the 2014 Summer Youth Olympics in the boxing competition, winning no medal. She also participated at the 2019 AIBA Women's World Boxing Championships in the light flyweight event, winning no medal. Balkibekova then participated at the 2022 IBA Women's World Boxing Championships, being awarded the silver medal in the minimumweight event. In the final match, she was defeated by Ayşe Çağırır.

Valentina Khalzova is a Kazakhstani amateur boxer. She won a gold medal at the 2016 World Championships and bronze at the 2022 edition.

Wuttichai Yurachai is a Thai boxer. He participated at the 2021 AIBA World Boxing Championships, being awarded the silver medal in the minimumweight event.

Yauheni Karmilchyk is a Belarusian boxer. He participated at the 2021 AIBA World Boxing Championships, being awarded the bronze medal in the minimumweight event.

Dina Zholaman is a Kazakhstani boxer. She competed at the 2016 AIBA Women's World Boxing Championships, winning the gold medal in the bantamweight category. Zholaman also competed at the 2022 IBA Women's World Boxing Championships, winning the bronze medal in the bantamweight event.
