Terravision is an Italian coach services operator offering airport connections in various major cities throughout Europe. [1]

History

To respond to the boom of low cost flights in the early 1990s, Fabio Petroni created the Terravision Group.[ citation needed ] The company opened its first route, between Ciampino Airport and Rome city centre, in 2002 and now has more than 18 airport transfer services all over Europe carrying more than 10,000 passengers per day.[ citation needed ] In October 2013 Terravision formed an alliance with City Sightseeing that will see it sell bus tour tickets. [2] The firm employs more than 300 people worldwide.[ citation needed ] One of its competitors in the United Kingdom is easyBus.

Terravision operates coach services connecting major airports with nearby cities. As of August 2019, one or more routes exist in the areas of London, Rome, Milan, Florence/Pisa, Palermo, Bari, Eindhoven, Amsterdam, Malta, Porto, Barcelona and the Dolomites. [1]

AEC Routemaster British double-decker bus

The AEC Routemaster is a front-engined double-decker bus that was designed by London Transport and built by the Associated Equipment Company (AEC) and Park Royal Vehicles. The first prototype was completed in September 1954 and the last one was delivered in 1968. The layout of the vehicle was conventional for the time, with a half-cab, front-mounted engine and open rear platform, although the coach version was fitted with rear platform doors. Forward entrance vehicles with platform doors were also produced as was a unique front-entrance prototype with the engine mounted transversely at the rear.
