Thabiso Maretlwaneng was a karate champion, and gained a sports scholarship to study at Swinburne University of Technology in Australia. As a student, he produced a feature-length documentary, Head Up, following the journey of young black refugees in Australia trying to break into the country's hip hop industry. The soundtrack for Head Up won an award at the 2009 New York International Independent Film and Video Festival. [3]

[2] It produced Ntwagolo, a 52-episode interactive docudrama looking at the impact of AIDS in Botswana. Pelokgale, a series which started airing in 2014, examined gender-based violence. [4] An entertainment show, Pula Power, also started airing in 2014. [5] In 2016 Dee-Zone Productions was sued over unpaid rentals. [6]

Total Drama is a Canadian animated comedy television series which is an homage to and satire of common conventions from reality television. In 2011, Molosi won the Best Short Solo Award at United Solo Theatre Festival for his performance as Seretse Khama in Blue, Black and White. In 2013, Molosi returned off-Broadway to perform Motswana: Africa, Dream Again. He played supporting roles in the following historic films, A United Kingdom (2016) and Given (2009). As a playwright, Molosi has published a collection of his original off-Broadway plays, which include We Are All Blue, Blue, Black and White and Motswana: Africa, Dream Again in 2016.
