The American Dream is the second EP by the American pop rock band Allstar Weekend. It was self-released under their own label, Diggit Records on July 3, 2012.
The band's member Zachary Porter confirmed that he wrote the song "I Was Born To Die With You" about his parents.
The EP's first single, "Wanna Dance with Somebody" (ASW 2012), was released on February 13, 2012. An official music video was filmed for this song and it was released on March 4, 2012 on their official YouTube channel, also featuring lyrics of the song. The chorus of the song samples Whitney Houston's hit song "I Wanna Dance with Somebody (Who Loves Me)".
The EP's second single, "Life As We Know It", was released on May 30, 2012. A lyric video was made for the song and released on June 20, 2012 on the band's YouTube channel while the official music video was released on June 29, 2012.
On March 18, 2013, the band re-released the track "The Last Time" remixed featuring Kina Grannis as a promotional single. This version is available for digital download on iTunes.

"I Wanna Dance with Somebody " is the first single from Whitney Houston's second studio album, Whitney. It was released on May 2, 1987 by Arista Records. It was produced by Narada Michael Walden, and written by George Merrill and Shannon Rubicam, of the band Boy Meets Girl, who had previously written the number-one Whitney Houston hit "How Will I Know."
I Stand is the third studio album by American singer-songwriter Idina Menzel and was released on January 29, 2008. The album was produced by Glen Ballard, who co-wrote most of the songs with Menzel.

"I Wanna Rock" is the third official single from American rapper, Snoop Dogg's tenth studio album, Malice n Wonderland. It was released digitally on iTunes on November 17, 2009, after the second single "That's Tha Homie". The song was produced by Scoop DeVille and mixed by Dr. Dre, and Snoop Dogg released it on a mixtape titled "I Wanna Rock" on November 23. The song was confirmed by BBC Radio 1 to be released in the UK on March 15, 2010 but is now listed as "Coming Soon".

Allstar Weekend is an American pop rock band based in Poway, California & Tampa, Florida. The band gained its popularity from the Disney Channel television network. The band consisted of lead singer Zachary "Zach" David Porter, bassist Cameron Quiseng, and drummer Michael Allen Martinez. In September 2011, guitarist Nathan Darmody left the band and later pursued his solo career. They were best known for the singles "Dance Forever", "Come Down with Love", and "A Different Side of Me". They disbanded on August 4, 2013.

Dance à la Plage was an English alternative/indie band from Oxfordshire, England. The group was composed of Joe Hamilton, Harry Elkington, Tom Sullivan (bass) and Tom Howard (drums). The band released their debut EP, A Short Stay At Clarence Pier in 2012 and released their second and third EPs, "Flying High" and Hope in 2013 and 2014 respectively. All Your Fault: Pt. 2 is the third EP by American singer Bebe Rexha. It was released on August 11, 2017, as the follow-up to her second EP released in February of the same year, All Your Fault: Pt. 1. It features guest appearances from Gucci Mane, 2 Chainz, Lil Wayne, Kranium and Florida Georgia Line The album's lead single, "The Way I Are ", was released on May 19, 2017. The album was also supported by its second single, "Meant to Be", which debuted at number one on the Hot Country Songs chart.
