Plot

The film begins with a wedding. During the ceremony the bride's illegitimate child suddenly appears. The marriage is maintained on the outside, but within the couple the jealousy of the husband leads to strong conflicts.

Lewis Stone American actor

Lewis Shepard Stone was an American film actor. He spent 29 years as a contract player at Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer and was best known for his portrayal of Judge James Hardy in the studio's popular Andy Hardy film series. Alfred Hitchcock's 1929 film The Manxman, is Hitchcock's last silent film.
