Route 66 is a state highway located in Monmouth County, New Jersey, United States. It runs 3.62 mi (5.83 km) between Route 33 in Tinton Falls and Route 35 at County Route 16 on the border of Ocean Township and Neptune Township, just to the west of Asbury Park. The route serves as an important connector between the Garden State Parkway to the west and Route 18 and Asbury Park to the east. It runs concurrent with County Route 16 from Bowne/Wayside Roads to the eastern terminus at Route 35. Route 66, which varies from a two-lane undivided road to a four-lane divided highway, passes through commercial areas for most of its length with some wooded areas. The route was created in 1953, replacing what had been Route 33A. There is currently a proposal to widen the two-lane portion between Jumping Brook Road and Wayside Road in order to better handle the traffic that uses this road.
The Press of Atlantic City is the fourth-largest daily newspaper in New Jersey. Originally based in Pleasantville, it is the primary newspaper for southeastern New Jersey and the Jersey Shore. The newspaper designated market runs from Waretown in southern Ocean County down to Cape May. It also reaches west to Cumberland County. The Press closed its printing facility in Pleasantville in 2014, at which time it outsourced printing to a facility in Freehold. That printing plant closed in 2017, with most of the New Jersey printing and production operations consolidated in Gannett's Rockaway plant.

Batman & Robin: The Chiller was a dual-tracked, launched roller coaster located at Six Flags Great Adventure in Jackson Township, New Jersey. Designed by Premier Rides, the ride was themed to the Batman & Robin movie. It opened to the public on June 7, 1997, but after a series of setbacks shortly after its debut, the roller coaster closed for much of its inaugural season and didn't reopen until 1998. When it did, ride operation was changed to launch only one side at a time as a result of the amount of power required by the ride's linear induction motor (LIM) launch system. Although modifications were made over the years to improve the ride experience and limit the amount of downtime, the park decided to remove the attraction following the 2007 season.

Allenhurst is an active commuter railroad station in Allenhurst, Monmouth County, New Jersey. Served by New Jersey Transit's North Jersey Coast Line, Allenhurst station operates on the diesel-only segment between Bay Head and Long Branch stations. However, trains also operate to both New York Penn Station and Hoboken Terminal. The next station to the north is Elberon in Long Branch while the next station to the south is Asbury Park. Allenhurst station consists of two low-level side platforms that are not handicapped accessible.

It is located along Cookman Avenue between Main Street and Memorial Drive. The current Asbury Park station is one of two original Asbury Park stations on the line. The North Asbury Park station still exists, but is no longer a station stop; the former station was located at the Sunset Avenue crossing.

Reynolds Brothers, also known as Reynolds, is a department store chain in New Jersey. It was founded in 1899 and operated a single location for over 60 years before starting expansion into a regional New Jersey chain of family apparel and accessory stores. The store was founded by George F. Reynolds and was later run by his son and grandson. An off-price brand of women's clothing stores, the Rafters brand, was added in the late 1970s. The company had grown to 22 stores in 1996 when it was sold to a private investor group. It peaked at about 30 stores a few years later before having financial difficulties. It downsized through bankruptcy reorganization in 2004 and reemerged with just three stores.
