Hans Florian Zimmer is a German-born American film score composer and music producer. He has won two Oscars and four Grammys and has been nominated for three Emmys and a Tony. Zimmer was also named on the list of Top 100 Living Geniuses, published by The Daily Telegraph in 2007.
A film score is original music written specifically to accompany a film. The score comprises a number of orchestral, instrumental, or choral pieces called cues, which are timed to begin and end at specific points during the film in order to enhance the dramatic narrative and the emotional impact of the scene in question. Scores are written by one or more composers under the guidance of or in collaboration with the film's director or producer and are then most often performed by an ensemble of musicians – usually including an orchestra or band, instrumental soloists, and choir or vocalists – known as playback singers – and recorded by a sound engineer. He split the score into three parts: analog, orchestral and digital, and had blended electronic and orchestral score as the film takes place during 1984–1998.
The Martian is the 2015 science fiction film based on Andy Weir's 2011 novel of the same name directed by Ridley Scott. Two soundtrack albums for the film were released by Columbia Records on October 2, 2015. The first album titled The Martian: Original Motion Picture Score, features instrumental tracks from the original score composed by Harry Gregson-Williams, and the latter, featured incorporated songs used in the film, that was released as a separate album under the title Songs from The Martian. The music served as a "comic relief" to provide sarcasm where most of the songs are chosen and performed ironically.

Pemberton described the score as a "blend of melodic and emotional orchestral music coupled with a nice level of messy quirky oddness". The score was released by Milan Records on September 23, 2020, the same day as the film. A vinyl edition of the soundtrack was released on June 4, 2021. The score received positive responses and praise from critics.
Enola Holmes 2 (Music from the Netflix Film) is the score album to the 2022 mystery film Enola Holmes 2, directed by Harry Bradbeer, which is a sequel to Enola Holmes (2020). Daniel Pemberton, the original composer, returned to score for the sequel. Pemberton described the score as "bigger than the first film", due to the expansion of the creative journey and the lead actor's adventures. The album was released on November 4, 2022 by Milan Records.
