Tin Angel Records is a British independent record label.
Tin Angel Records has founded in 2007 with Devon Sproule's Keep Your Silver Shined . The album received critical acclaim and led to Sproule appearing live on Later... with Jools Holland. [1] Other notable records for the label in 2007 were by Paul Curreri and Adrian Crowley, with Crowley's album Long Distance Swimmer receiving a nomination for the 2007 Choice Music Prize. [2] In 2008, Tin Angel released the self-titled album by Polar Bear, the follow-up to their Mercury Music Prize-nominated Held On The Tips Of Fingers. The label has since released records by the likes of Baby Dee, Charlie Parr and Evening Hymns (whose album Spectral Dusk was longlisted for the 2013 Polaris Music Prize [3] ) and branched into book publishing in 2012 with the release of Little Annie's autobiography You Can't Sing The Blues While Drinking Milk. [4] Tin Angel hosted a showcase at North by Northeast 2013 in Toronto. [5]

Lindi Marie Ortega is a Canadian country singer-songwriter from Toronto, Ontario, who had lived in Nashville, Tennessee then moved to Western Canada in 2017. She spent nearly a decade as an independent artist in the Toronto music scene, releasing two albums and an EP in that time. She has been described as "Toronto's best kept secret" and nicknamed "Indie Lindi". Ortega left Last Gang management and records in November 2017. She has since released Til The Goin' Gets Gone EP and her full-length Liberty on her own label Shadowbox Music. Her voice has been described as a blend of Dolly Parton's, Johnny Cash's, and Emmylou Harris'.
Henry Bernard Glover was an American songwriter, arranger, record producer and trumpet player. In the music industry of the time, Glover was one of the most successful and influential black executives. He gained eminence in the late 1940s, primarily working for the independent King label. His duties included operating as a producer, arranger, songwriter, engineer, trumpet player, talent scout, A&R man, studio constructor, while later in his career he became the owner of his own label. Glover worked with country, blues, R&B, pop, rock, and jazz musicians, and he helped King Records to become one of the largest independent labels of its time. Thanks to the efforts of family, friends and fans, Glover's hometown of Hot Springs, Arkansas celebrated the 100th anniversary of his birth in 2021 by inducting him into the downtown "Walk of Fame," the Mayor's "Proclamation," "Key to the City," and named a parklet "Henry Glover Way," along Black Broadway after him. In 2018, Glover was recognized with a Lifetime Achievement Award by the King Records 75th Anniversary. In 2013, he was inducted into the Blues Hall of Fame.

"Drink You Away" is a song recorded by American singer and songwriter Justin Timberlake for his fourth studio album, The 20/20 Experience – 2 of 2 (2013). It was written and produced by Timberlake, Timothy "Timbaland" Mosley and Jerome "J-Roc" Harmon, with additional writing from James Fauntleroy. It was sent to US country radio stations on November 23, 2015 as the fourth and final single from the album. Musically, it was defined by critics as a multi-genre song including classic rock, country pop, gospel blues and Memphis soul. Lyrically, on the track, Timberlake compares love to alcoholism while making references to several alcoholic brands including Jack Daniel's and Jim Beam. As of May 2016, the song has sold over 600,000 copies in the US.
