Todd Ryan Riech is a former American olympian as a javelin thrower. Riech is a personal trainer and coach.
On October 24, 1970, Riech was born in Hot Springs, Montana. Reich's father is Jack Reich. Reich's mother is Gloria Riech, who is part native American-Indian and French. Riech is a registered native American-Indian. [1]
Riech earned a bachelor's degree from Fresno State University. [2]
In 1994, as a college student, Reich won the NCAA Championship with a national collegiate record in the Javelin Throw.
As an athlete, Riech set his best at the Olympic trials with throw of 268 feet, 7 inches. [1]
Riech participated at the 1996 Summer Olympics in Atlanta, Georgia. He set his personal best (82.12/269-5) with the new javelin type on July 2, 2000, in Glasgow. Todd made 4 USA teams.
Riech became an assistant track coach at CSU Long Beach, where he coached the Men's and Women's Javelin teams. [2] [3]
Riech became a certified personal trainer and coach. Riech is the co-founder and co-owner of ProSport Physical Therapy and Performance in California. [2]
Reich's wife is Brittany Borman, a retired female javelin thrower from the United States. They have two children. Reich and his family live in Fresno, California. [1] [2]

Michael Cameron "Mike" Smith is a Canadian decathlete from Kenora, Ontario.
Kathryn Joan "Kate" Schmidt is an American former world record holder in the javelin throw. A native of California, graduate of Woodrow Wilson Classical High School, and alumnus of UCLA, she won bronze medals at the 1972 and 1976 Olympics. She qualified for the 1980 Olympics, but did not compete due to the 1980 Summer Olympics boycott. She placed fourth at the 1984 Olympic Trials.
William Preston Miller was an American athlete who competed in the javelin throw for the United States in the 1952 Summer Olympics held in Helsinki, Finland where he won the silver medal with a throw of 72.46 meters. Miller was born in Lawnside, New Jersey.
Thomas Alan Petranoff is a retired American track and field athlete who competed in the javelin throw. He held the world record from May 1983 to July 1984; his 99.72 m throw was almost the length of an American football field (360 feet. During his career, he was a silver medalist at the World Championships in 1983 and represented the United States at the Summer Olympics in 1984 and 1988. He transferred to South Africa in the 1990s and was twice a winner at the African Championships. His personal best with the new implement javelin is 89.16 m. In the final years of his career, he returned to the United States and won a medal at the 1999 Pan American Games.
Sultana Frizell is a Canadian track and field athlete competing in the hammer throw. Frizell currently trains under the guidance of Derek Evely in Kamloops, British Columbia. She competed at the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing and the 2012 Olympic Games in London. Frizell is the former Commonwealth Games champion in the hammer throw and Commonwealth Games record holder for the event as well.
John Flint Hanner was an American track and field athlete and coach. He qualified for the 1920 Summer Olympics, won the first NCAA javelin championship in 1921 and later worked as the track coach at Fresno State University for 35 years. He was also one of the founders and the long-time director of the West Coast Relays.

She is a four-time NCAA Track and Field Champion, winning the javelin in 2010, 2011, and 2012, and the discus in 2010. In 2012, she won the US Olympic Trials in the javelin and represented the United States at the 2012 Summer Olympics. She also represented the US at the 2016 Olympic Games.
Sean Furey is an American Olympic javelin thrower with a personal best of 83.08 meters. He has placed in the top three at the U.S. National Championships six times, winning the javelin event in 2010, 2014 and 2015. He represented the United States in international competition between 2009 and 2016, including 2 Olympic, 2 World Championship and 2 Pan American teams. A Junior commissioned officer in the Indian Army, Chopra is the first track and field athlete to win a gold medal for India at the Olympics. He is also the first track and field athlete from India to win at the World Under-20 Championships, where in 2016 he achieved a world U20 record throw of 86.48 m, becoming the first Indian athlete to set a world record.
