NCT is a South Korean boy band formed by SM Entertainment and introduced in January 2016. The group consists of 23 members as of April 2021,ranging in age from late teens to mid-twenties and divided into four different sub-units.
NCT 127 is the first fixed and second overall sub-unit of the South Korean boy band NCT,formed and managed by SM Entertainment. They debuted on July 7,2016 with the single "Firetruck" and an original lineup of seven members:Taeil,Taeyong,Yuta,Jaehyun,Winwin,Mark,and Haechan. Their debut extended play (EP) NCT #127 (2016) was a commercial success upon release,winning them the Best New Group title at several South Korean music award shows. NCT 2018 Empathy is the debut studio album by South Korean Boy band NCT,an unlimited group project under the management of SM Entertainment. Containing a total of fourteen tracks with twelve of which were released as singles from 2016 to 2018,the album marked the first group release with eighteen members from three different units participating at the time,while being the first release to officially introduce three new members Kun,Jungwoo and Lucas. WayV is a Chinese boy band managed by SM Entertainment's Chinese sub-label,Label V,and the fourth sub-unit and China-based unit of the South Korean boy band NCT. The group is composed of seven members:Kun,Ten,Winwin,Lucas,Xiaojun,Hendery,and Yangyang. They debuted on January 17,2019,with the digital extended play (EP) The Vision.
We Go Up is the second extended play by South Korean–Chinese boy band NCT Dream,the third and teen-aged sub-unit of the South Korean boy band NCT. Released by SM Entertainment on September 3,2018 and distributed by iriver,the album contains five new Korean songs and a Mandarin version of the album's eponymous single,marking it their latest release to contain a Mandarin record. The extended play was the unit's first major release to feature member Jaemin since their debut single "Chewing Gum" in August 2016;following his medical hiatus since early 2017. SM founder Lee Soo-man served as the EP's executive producer,with songwriters and producers such as Kenzie,MZMC,Bazzi,Mike Woods,Kevin White,August Rigo,The Stereotypes,Deez,Erik Lidbom,Cazzi Opeia,Anton Ewald,Simon Johansson,Sebastian Thott,and others participating in making the album. Regular-Irregular is the first studio album by South Korean boy band NCT 127,the second sub-unit of the South Korean boy band NCT. Described as a multi-genre concept album with a total of eleven tracks,the album was released by SM Entertainment on October 12,2018,and distributed by IRIVER. This marks NCT 127's first Korean major release in a year and four months since their previous EP,Cherry Bomb,which was released in June 2017. It is also their first release as a ten-member group since the addition of Jungwoo in September 2018.
Awaken is the first full-length Japanese album by South Korean boy band NCT 127,the second multi-national sub-unit of NCT. Released by their Japanese label Avex Trax on April 17,2019,the album was the second major release for the Japanese market from the group and their first to not feature Winwin,who was on a hiatus due to his participation in WayV's promotion. He is a member of the South Korean boy group NCT,its Chinese sub-unit WayV and rotational sub-unit NCT U,as well as the supergroup SuperM. In China,he has appeared as a regular cast member of the seventh and ninth season of the popular variety show Keep Running.

The group consists of seven members from four SM Entertainment boy bands:Taemin from Shinee,Baekhyun and Kai from Exo,Taeyong and Mark from NCT 127,and Ten and Lucas from WayV. The group debuted on October 4,2019,with their self-titled EP,which entered the US Billboard 200 at number one,making SuperM the first Asian artist in history to top the chart with a debut release. Their debut single,"Jopping",was among Billboard's Critics' Picks for the "25 Best K-pop Songs" of 2019.
Lee Tae-yong,known mononymously as Taeyong,is a South Korean rapper,singer,songwriter,and dancer. He is a member and leader of South Korean boy band NCT under SM Entertainment,having debuted in the group's first sub-unit,NCT U,in 2016 and becoming the leader of its second sub-unit,NCT 127,later that year. In 2019,he debuted as a member of the South Korean supergroup SuperM,a joint project under SM Entertainment and Capitol Records,and released his first solo single,"Long Flight". Neo Zone is the second Korean studio album by the South Korean boy band NCT 127. Preceded by the music video release for "Dreams Come True" on NCT 127 Day,January 27 (1/27),the 13-track album was released through SM Entertainment and Capitol Music Group on March 6,2020. Neo Zone contains various musical genres from hip hop,R&B,funk,to electro-pop,which aimed to create a soundscape that broadened the group's sonic vision. The repackaged version of the album,titled "NCT #127 Neo Zone:The Final Round",was released on May 19,2020.

NCT 2020 Resonance is the second studio album by South Korean boy band NCT,an unlimited group project under the management of SM Entertainment. Similar to their previous release NCT 2018 Empathy,NCT 2020 Resonance is part of the "NCT 2020" project;which saw all current NCT members from several units collaborating on a full-length release. This time,the album features all 21 members from three current units of NCT;NCT 127,NCT Dream,and WayV,while introducing two new NCT members,namely Shotaro and Sungchan.
