Travis Larsen (born June 4, 1991) is a Canadian rugby union player. [1] He plays flanker. Larsen was born in Canada but grew up in New Zealand where he started playing rugby at a young age. In 2014 he moved to Italy to play for Petrarca Rugby in the Top12. He currently plays for Old Glory DC of Major League Rugby.

International career

Larsen was part of the Canada A squad for the 2017 Americas Pacific Challenge. [2] On 18 February 2019, he was called up to Canada for the remaining three games of the 2019 Americas Rugby Championship. [3]

Personal life

Larsen was born in Nanaimo to a New Zealand-born father and Canadian mother. He is the brother of Josh Larsen who also plays rugby. [4]

2019 Rugby World Cup – Americas qualification

Qualifying for the 2019 Rugby World Cup for the Americas began in March 2016, where across 3 years, 20 teams competed for two direct qualification spots into the final tournament, and one spot in the Repechage tournament. For qualification purposes, the two Americas regions Rugby Americas North and Sudamérica Rugby formed the Americas region to compete for the two Americas berths in the World Cup.

Ahmad Kamal Harajly is an American rugby union center, fullback and Lebanon rugby league international. Harajly played for the U.S. national rugby sevens team Wellington, New Zealand tour as an Olympic Games recruitment standout in January 2015. Soon after the Wellington, New Zealand HSBC tour Harajly was then sent to Las Vegas, Nevada where he captained the USA Falcons. He was also a part of the United States national team select tour to Uruguay in 2016. He has played for Ohio Aviators in the US PRO Rugby competition.
