Trevor Boris (born September 10, 1980) [2] is a Canadian comedian, writer and television producer.
Boris is one of the stars of MuchMusic's Video on Trial , and is also a star of Stars Gone Wild . He has also appeared on many other MuchMusic specials including Stars on Trial , LOL! , Spring Break '07, Totally 80s Video on Trial, Video on Trial: Holiday Crap, Overrated in 06, and wrote the special Famous Fallouts. He was also a producer of Video on Trial at one point. He was also a presenter at the 2006 MuchMusic Video Awards. He was also a spokesperson for Sunsilk which aired numerous Hair on Trial commercials on MuchMusic. He also made an appearance on The Latest Buzz on Family Channel.
In 2007 Boris had his very own Comedy Now! standup special air on CTV and The Comedy Network, was the runner-up in the 2006 Great Canadian Laugh Off (the winner received $25,000) that aired on The Comedy Network, and was the host of the same-sex wedding show I Now Pronounce You... on OUTtv. He has been nominated twice for the "Best Stand-up Newcomer" Canadian Comedy Award, and has performed at the Just for Laughs Comedy Festival, as well as the CBC Winnipeg, Halifax, and Vancouver Comedy Festivals and at the 2006 Cape Town Comedy Festival in South Africa.
He has been featured numerous times on entertainment shows such as eTalk Daily , Star! Daily , Inside Jam! , CBC Television's The National and CBC Radio One's The Debaters , and was recently[ when? ] featured on the cover of NOW in Toronto, Ontario. He has also written for The National Post.
He was also part of season five of Last Comic Standing when they auditioned in Montreal, Quebec. He made it to the Finals of Canada (Top 15) but did not advance to L.A.
In 2012, Trevor made his late night U.S. TV debut when he performed stand up on Conan . [3]
He has also worked as a television producer, most recently as a Supervising Producer on Big Brother Canada . Since the first season, he has been the voice of Marsha the Moose, a magical Moose who lives in the house and occasionally gives secret tasks to the house guest's. Marsha became a hit and has been seen once a season. [4] Since season two of the show, he has served a challenge producer coming up with different challenges. [5] He also worked on Season 18 of Big Brother USA in LA in 2016. He also produced Canada's Got Talent , which was retired after only one season.

Frederick Allan Moranis is a Canadian actor, comedian, musician, songwriter, writer, and producer.
David William Thomas is a Canadian actor, comedian and television writer, known for being one half of the duo Bob and Doug McKenzie with Rick Moranis. He appeared as Doug McKenzie on SCTV, for which he won a Primetime Emmy Award out of two nominations, and in the film Strange Brew (1983), which he also co-directed. As a duo, they made two albums, The Great White North and Strange Brew, the former gaining them a Grammy Award nomination and a Juno Award.
Howard Michael Mandel is a Canadian comedian, television personality, actor, and producer. Mandel is known for voicing Gizmo in the 1984 film Gremlins and the 1990 sequel Gremlins 2: The New Batch, playing rowdy ER intern Dr. Wayne Fiscus on the NBC medical drama St. Elsewhere, and creating and starring in the Fox children's cartoon Bobby's World. He has also been a judge on NBC's America's Got Talent since 2010, and Citytv's Canada's Got Talent since 2022. Ed the Sock is a sock puppet character, created and voiced by Steven Joel Kerzner, who first appeared on Canadian local cable television in 1987. He is best known for his hosting appearances in the 1990s on MuchMusic and his own late night talk show, Ed's Night Party. He is a gray sock puppet with green hair, round eyes, a scowl, a cigar and a rough, gravelly voice.
George Mark Paul Stroumboulopoulos is a Canadian media personality. He is one of Canada's most popular broadcasters and best known as formerly being a VJ for the Canadian music television channel MuchMusic. He was also the host and co-executive producer of the CBC Television talk show George Stroumboulopoulos Tonight from 2005 to 2014. From 2014 to 2016, Stroumboulopoulos worked for Rogers Media, anchoring Hockey Night in Canada and the NHL on Rogers. From 2009 to 2023, he was a radio host on CBC Music. "The Hockey Song", sometimes mistakenly called "The Good Old Hockey Game", is a song written and originally performed by Canadian folksinger Stompin' Tom Connors. The song's first release was on Connors' 1973 album, Stompin' Tom and the Hockey Song. The song was played at Ottawa Senators games in 1992, after which Pat Burns, then coach of the Toronto Maple Leafs, insisted it be played in Toronto as well. The song is now played throughout both Canadian and American NHL arenas, as well in the home arenas of European hockey teams.
Video on Trial is a Canadian comedy television program that airs on Canadian television network MuchMusic. The show consists of a panel of musicians, comedians, and entertainment columnists critiquing five different music videos in a courtroom-esque manner. The panel acts as the jurors, poking fun at and questioning each artist's behaviour in each video. Artists' personal lives and off-set behaviour are usually mocked by the critics in relation to the music video. They are shown in separate clips to use their opinions.
