History
It was originally launched in 2008 as a sports channel. Due to the financial problems of RTVS at the time, Trojka ended its broadcasting on June 30, 2011. It was relaunched on 22 December 2019 as a channel showing archived content from RTVS and its predecessors STV and ČST for an older audience. It was then ended by RTVS on November 30, 2022.
Final day on air
On November 30, 2022, Trojka announced the end of the channel itself on that day, causing chaos around the Slovak TV community. After the end of the program Štedrý deň at 12:00 AM on December 1st, the channel stopped airing, and the next morning, anyone who pressed the Text button while viewing Trojka would get a screen that looks like it got wiped out with the only text on the screen being P100. Some days later, RTVS removed teletext from the channel. If you go to the channel to watch it today, you get a screen with the Trojka logo on the left with the text on the right saying the following:

Slovenská televízia was a state-owned public television organisation in Slovakia. It was created in 1991 as the Slovak part of the former Czechoslovak Television and was headquartered in Bratislava. It was funded from a combination of television licence fees, advertising, and government funding. It ceased to existed on 1 January 2011, when it was merged with the state-owned public radio organisation Slovenský rozhlas to create Rozhlas a televízia Slovenska.
Television stations in Slovakia broadcast in both DVB-T format and DVB-T2 format. Broadcasting is mostly in the Slovak, state-owned channels have some dedicated broadcasting for ethnic minorities. Foreign language movies and shows are dubbed. Czech production is often broadcast in original, with the exception of juvenile programs. ITV Nightscreen is a scheduled programme on the ITV television network, consisting of a sequence of animated pages of information about ITV's upcoming programmes, features and special events, with easy listening music in the background. The programme was used to fill the station's overnight downtime, where a closedown would have once been used at the end of programmes. The programme was generally shown seven days a week with the typical weekday show airing from 4:05 am to 5:05 am daily. However, on ITV's digital channels, the amount of Teleshopping affects how much Nightscreen is broadcast. The programme was also broadcast on all of ITV's +1 channels.
WZME is a television station licensed to Bridgeport, Connecticut, United States, serving as the New York City market's outlet for the diginet Story Television. The network's programming and advertising operations are based in Weigel Broadcasting's headquarters on North Halsted Street in Chicago, Illinois.
