De Twentsche Courant Tubantia, commonly known as Tubantia, is a Dutch daily newspaper owned by DPG Media. In 2016 it was distributed in 91,313 copies in the regions of Twente and Regge valley. Its headquarters are in Enschede. [1]

Twente Airport is located 2 NM outside of Enschede in Overijssel, Netherlands. It has one runway (05/23), though two of the current taxiways and platforms have been used as runways. The Netherlands Symphony Orchestra is a Dutch symphony orchestra. The home of the orchestra is the Muziekcentrum in Enschede. The orchestra was previously known in Dutch as Orkest van het Oosten, but in October 2011 changed its Dutch name to align with the English name. At the same time the Dutch abbreviation "OvhO" was replaced with "NedSym." Due to objections from the Amsterdam-based Netherlands Philharmonic Orchestra, the Enschede orchestra had to change its name again and from 2014 till 2019 was known as HET Symfonieorkest. Internationally it keeps employing the name "Netherlands Symphony Orchestra".

Arke Stars Enschede was a Dutch professional basketball club based in Enschede. In the 1970s, the team played in the Eredivisie, the national top flight league. The team played in the Diekmanhal, which was destroyed in a fire in 2007. The Arke Stars won the NBB Cup in 1975.

AKI Academy for Art & Design is an art academy in the city Enschede in the Netherlands. The school was found in 1946 as Academie voor Kunst en Industrie, but only retains the acronym 'AKI'. The school is part of the ArtEZ group of schools.
