"Turn the Lights Out" is a single by British Grindie band Hadouken! from their second album, For the Masses. [1] It was released digitally on 20 December 2009, peaking at #2 on the UK Electronic Music Chart. [2]
The promotional video for the song shows the band playing in a living room that looks to have been badly scorched and burned. A long haired, unshaven man covered in dirt breaks through the floorboards and picks up a Gramophone record and plays it on a turntable. A gathering of dancing people then appear around the band, and the aforementioned man begins to trash the room. As the video ends the man sits down in his armchair and the record stops playing.

"Call Me" is a song by the American new wave band Blondie and the theme to the 1980 film American Gigolo. Produced and composed by Italian musician Giorgio Moroder, with lyrics by Blondie singer Debbie Harry, the song appeared in the film and was released in the United States in early 1980 as a single. "Personal Jesus" is a song by English electronic music band Depeche Mode. It was released as the lead single from their seventh studio album, Violator (1990), in 1989. Metronomy are a British electronic music group formed in 1999. As the band consists of Joseph Mount, Oscar Cash, Anna Prior, Olugbenga Adelekan and Michael Lovett. Their music consists of vocal and instrumental electronic pop music. Mount also releases remixes under the name Metronomy, and has remixed many artists including Gorillaz, Sebastien Tellier, Roots Manuva, Franz Ferdinand, Klaxons, Goldfrapp, Young Knives, Zero 7, Ladytron, Kate Nash, Lady Gaga and Lykke Li.
Hadouken! were a British band formed in London in 2006 by singer, songwriter and producer James Smith and synth player Alice Spooner along with guitarist Daniel "Pilau" Rice, bassist Christopher Purcell and drummer Nick Rice. The band took its name from the special attack of the same name from the Street Fighter video game series. It was in Leeds that Hadouken! began their own record label, Surface Noise Records.

Chase & Status are an English electronic music duo composed of Saul Milton (Chase) and Will Kennard (Status). In addition, Andy Gangadeen is the drummer when the band performs live. MC Rage formerly performed as MC with the group, but left in July 2021 to focus on solo ventures. The duo are from London, and formed in 2003 after meeting at university in Manchester. The duo have since released six studio albums and collaborated with major artists such as Plan B, CeeLo Green, Rihanna, Example, and Tinie Tempah. They run the independent record label MTA Records.
Get Smashed Gate Crash is the first single from Hadouken!'s debut album Music for an Accelerated Culture, released on 4 May 2008. The physical single was available from 17 March 2008, with the digital version being released on 4 April 2008.
"Declaration of War" is the second single from Hadouken!'s debut album released on 4 May 2008. As of 2009, it is the band's second most successful single, after Liquid Lives, charting at #66 in the UK.
The Whip are a rock band from Manchester, England. The two founding members, Bruce Carter and Danny Saville, previously played in the band Nylon Pylon, who were signed to London Records and supported The Music on their 2003 Tour. Other members of The Whip are Nathan Sudders (bass), who also plays in Manchester band Tokolosh and Fiona "Li'l Fee" Daniel (drums), who was previously in Colne based band Earl.
Made Up Stories is the debut single from British band, Go:Audio, taken from the album of the same name. The single debuted at #85 on the UK Singles Chart. and reached #33 the following week.

It is the band's most successful single to date, peaking at number 64 on the Australian Singles Chart. It was included in the video games FIFA 09 and Forza Horizon 3.
The M.A.D. EP is a 2009 EP by new rave band Hadouken!. It was released on 14 September 2009. It was released in the UK as a digital download EP, however, a CD single is available in Japan. M.A.D. stands for Mutually Assured Destruction. The title track later appeared on the band's second studio album, For the Masses.
Noisia were a Dutch electronic music trio consisting of members Nik Roos, Martijn van Sonderen and Thijs de Vlieger from Groningen, Netherlands. They produced a wide variety of music including drum and bass, dubstep, breakbeat and house, releasing music under labels including Skrillex's Owsla, deadmau5's mau5trap and Jay-Z's Roc Nation. Noisia previously combined with the group Foreign Beggars to form the supergroup side project I Am Legion. They released their collaborative self-titled album on 2 September 2013. Noisia also have production credits under the pseudonym Nightwatch, such as for their work with Alexis Jordan, Hadouken!, Wiley and Wretch 32. They produced Hadouken!'s album For the Masses that charted at number 19 on the UK Albums Chart.
"It's the Things You Do" is a song by British boy band Five, released as the fifth single from their debut studio album, 5ive (1998). Written by Max Martin, George Shahin, Herbie Crichlow and Five, the song was released as a single exclusively in the United States. The song charted at number 53 on the Billboard Hot 100. Co-writer George Shahin originally released his version as a single in 1997 titled "The Things You Do", from his album All the Way. Five's version contains rewritten lyrics in the first verse, and a rap for the second verse, but keeps the pre-chorus and chorus.
Zeds Dead is a Canadian electronic music duo from Toronto, Canada, consisting of Dylan Mamid, also known as DC, and Zachary Rapp-Rovan, also known as Hooks. The duo rose to prominence releasing original music and remixes from 2009 to 2010 before becoming a staple on the international touring circuit thereafter.
Mirrors are an English synthpop band originating from Brighton who formed in 2008. The band consists of James New, James Arguile (synthesizers) and Josef Page. They prefer to describe their music as 'electronic soul' and 'pop noir' with their main instruments being analogue synthesizers.
