Bikie Wars is based on the book Brothers in Arms by Lindsay Simpson and Sandra Harvey. The screenplay was written by Greg Haddrick, Roger Simpson and Jo Martino. It is directed by Peter Andrikidis. Bikie Wars: Brothers in Arms cost A$6,000,000 to make.
Underbelly: Badness, the fifth series of the Nine Network crime drama series Underbelly, originally aired from 13 August 2012 to 1 October 2012. It is an eight-part series detailing real events that occurred in Sydney between 2001 and 2012. The series began its production in early 2012 and towards the middle of the year filming eventually commenced. A teaser clip for the series was released by the Nine Network indicating the core cast of the series. Caroline Craig returns to narrate the series for a fifth time. It was the first season of the franchise not to have 13 episodes.
The 55th Annual TV Week Logie Awards was held on Sunday 7 April 2013 at the Crown Palladium in Melbourne, and broadcast on the Nine Network and simulcast of Today Network's radio stations. Public voting for the "Most Popular" categories were conducted through an online survey from late November 2012 to 10 February 2013. Nominations were announced on 11 March 2013. Network Ten's Offspring received the most nominations with eight. Hamish and Andy's Euro Gap Year, Hamish and Andy's Caravan of Courage: Australia Vs New Zealand, Home and Away, Howzat! Kerry Packer's War, and Puberty Blues each received five nominations. Television presenter Brian Henderson was inducted into the Logies Hall of Fame.
Fat Tony & Co. is a nine-episode Australian television series focusing on Tony Mokbel and covers the manhunt which lasted 18 months and dismantled a drug empire. It premiered on 23 February 2014 and concluded on 6 April 2014 on the Nine Network. It is technically a part of the Underbelly franchise, with various actors reprising their role from previous series.
Married at First Sight is an Australian reality television adaptation of the Danish series Gift Ved Første Blik. The show features a group of strangers who participate in a social experiment and are paired together by experts. Due to the legal requirement to give one month's notice of marriage in Australia, participants in this installment are not legally married, instead proceeding with an unofficial commitment ceremony. The series first premiered on 18 May 2015 on the Nine Network. The show has had ten seasons between 2015 and 2023, plus a two-part reunion special which was broadcast before the eighth season in 2021.
Underbelly Files: Chopper is an Australian 2-part mini-series that screened on the Nine Network, premiering on 11 February 2018 and concluding the next day. It is part of the Underbelly franchise and continues the Underbelly Files spin-off tele-movies. It was preceded by Tell Them Lucifer was Here, Infiltration, and The Man Who Got Away.
After the Verdict is a six-part Australian drama television series which premiered on Nine Network on 10 August 2022.
Melissa Louise Caddick was an Australian woman who disappeared in November 2020 amid an investigation by the Australian Securities & Investments Commission (ASIC) for carrying on a financial services business without holding an Australian Financial Services (AFS) licence. She vanished the day after ASIC agents and Australian Federal Police officers raided her home at Dover Heights, Sydney, on the suspicion that she had misappropriated approximately A$30 million from investors, including her friends and family, in an elaborate Ponzi scheme.
