Groton-Dunstable Regional High School (GDRHS) is a high school located in Groton, Massachusetts, United States, and serves the communities of Groton and Dunstable in the Groton-Dunstable Regional School District. While GDRHS is the only public high school located within those communities students from Groton may also attend the public Nashoba Valley Technical High School and students from Dunstable may attend the public Greater Lowell Technical High School. Approximately 810 students attend GDRHS and they are primarily graduates of Groton-Dunstable Regional Middle School. GDRHS has a primarily college preparatory curriculum, with approximately 87% of its students attending four-year colleges and over 90% attending two- or four-year colleges upon graduation in 2010.
The Springfield metropolitan area, also known as Greater Springfield, is a region that is socio-economically and culturally tied to the City of Springfield, Massachusetts. The U.S. Office of Management and Budget defines the Springfield, MA Metropolitan Statistical Area (MSA) as consisting of three counties in Western Massachusetts. As of April 1, 2020, the metropolitan area's population was estimated at 699,162, making it the 84th largest metropolitan area in the United States. Following the 2010 Census, there have been discussions about combining the metropolitan areas of Springfield, Massachusetts and Hartford, Connecticut, into a greater Hartford–Springfield area, due to the region's economic interdependence and close geographic proximity. Historically the Census has also identified the region as "Springfield–Holyoke, Mass.–Conn." as those cities were the area's population centers as recently as 1980; since that time the population has become further distributed, including new growth in Amherst, Westfield, and West Springfield, as well as Northern Connecticut. Greater Springfield is one of two combined statistical areas in Massachusetts, the other being Greater Boston.

Pioneer Valley Regional School District is a four town regional school district in eastern and central Franklin County, Massachusetts. Grade K-6 elementary schools are located in Bernardston and Northfield, and the single middle/high school for the entire district, Pioneer Valley Regional School, is located in Northfield, Massachusetts. The district was initially formed by the four member towns in 1957 to serve grades 7–12, and became a fully regionalized district K-12 district in 1991. Its administrative offices are housed in Pioneer Valley Regional School at 97 F. Sumner Turner Road, Northfield, Massachusetts.
