Unity Braxton Middle School is a middle school in Prince William County, Virginia. It is named for local black community figures Celestine and Carroll Braxton. [1]

Contents

Formerly named Stonewall Middle School after the Confederate general Stonewall Jackson, it was renamed to Unity Braxton Middle School in 2020, during the George Floyd protests. [2]

Stonewall Jackson High School is a former high school in Kanawha County, West Virginia. It opened in 1940 and closed in 1989. It was located on the West Side of Charleston, West Virginia. In 1989, Stonewall Jackson High School and Charleston High School consolidated to become Capital High School. The building is now a middle school.

The school is located at 10504 Kettle Run Road, Nokesville, Virginia. The school opened in September 2011.
