Utah Saints are an English electronic music duo consisting of members Jez Willis and Tim Garbutt. The band had three top-ten and another five top-40 singles on the UK Singles Chart in the 1990s, as well as number-one dance tracks in the UK and US. They were notable for pioneering use of sampling technology, in particular, their practice of manipulating samples from mainstream pop, rock, R&B and soul songs and combining them with contrasting dance beats, using the samples in a new context. The band wrote, produced and mixed all of their own music. The duo were joined on stage by additional musicians when they played live from 1991 to 2001. They were one of the first electronic groups to play as a live collective and supported both the Shamen and U2 live at 10 stadium shows. Since then the duo have performed live sets themselves.
O, Yeah! Ultimate Aerosmith Hits is a greatest hits album by American hard rock band Aerosmith, released in 2002 by Columbia Records and Geffen Records. A double-disc album, it includes 27 of the band's biggest hits in chronological order and spans the band's entire career up to 2002. Also included are a guest appearance on Run-DMC's cover of "Walk This Way" and two new songs, "Girls of Summer" and "Lay It Down", which the band recorded in Hawaii.
Melon: Remixes for Propaganda is a compilation of remixes released by Irish rock band U2 exclusively to members of the band's magazine/fan club, Propaganda, in spring 1995. Some of the remixes were previously available on singles and some have been re-released on later singles and compilations, while some remain exclusive to this set. The title "Melon" is an anagram of "Lemon", which is a reference to U2's song of the same name that appears on two tracks of the album.
Alice in Videoland was an electroclash band from Sweden. They were compared to bands like Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Missing Persons and The Sounds, although they are more electronic.

D.A.F.T.: A Story About Dogs, Androids, Firemen and Tomatoes is a video collection by French electronic music duo Daft Punk that was released on March 28, 2000. It features music videos of six tracks from their album Homework (1997). Though its title derives from the appearance of dogs, androids, firemen ("Burnin'"), and tomatoes in the videos, there is no cohesive plot connecting any of the episodes.
David Andrew Sitek is an American musician and record producer, known for his work with his band TV on the Radio. He has also worked with bands such as Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Liars, Foals, Celebration, Little Dragon, Wavves, Beady Eye, and Weezer, and produced free jazz-influenced remixes of songs by artists such as Beck and Nine Inch Nails, and has contributed a solo track to the Red Hot Organization Dark Was the Night charity compilation. He is also a photographer and painter.
Global Underground 014: John Digweed, Hong Kong is a DJ mix album in the Global Underground series, compiled and mixed by John Digweed. The mix is a retrospective look at a set played at the Regal Kowloon hotel in Hong Kong.
"I Get Around" is the debut single by Canadian electronic music band Dragonette, released on April 30, 2007 from their debut studio album, Galore (2007). The track first appeared as an early working on Dragonette's self-released 2005 eponymous EP.

"Back of the Van" is the debut single by New Zealand singer Ladyhawke from her self-titled debut studio album (2008). The song was written by Ladyhawke and Michael Di Francesco. It was released on 1 April 2008 as the album's lead single digitally from Ladyhawke's website and Myspace. The track was re-released on 18 May 2009 as a limited-edition single.
"People Hold On" is a song by British band Coldcut and singer-songwriter Lisa Stansfield, released as the first single from the band's debut album, What's That Noise? (1989). It was written by Matt Black, Jonathan More and Stansfield, and produced by Coldcut. The song received positive reviews from music critics and became a commercial success. It was released as a single on 13 March 1989 and reached number eleven on the UK Singles Chart and number six on the US Billboard's Hot Dance Club Songs chart. The song was remixed by Blaze, Juan Atkins, Dimitri from Paris, Mark Saunders, Eric Kupper, Tyrone Perkins and Masters At Work.
"Colours" is the third single released by Hot Chip from their 2006 album The Warning. It was released on 14 August 2006, shortly after The Warning was nominated for the 2006 Mercury Prize. The single did not chart due to the inclusion of non-promotional stickers with each format.
"Fire in Your New Shoes" is the second single from Dynasty, an album by American house DJ Kaskade. It features the lead singer from Dragonette, Martina Sorbara. It was released digitally on April 13, 2010.
"Boys & Girls" is a song recorded by French DJ and record producer Martin Solveig featuring Canadian synthpop group Dragonette. It was released on 28 September 2009 as the first single from the reissue of Solveig's third studio album, C'est la Vie (2008), subtitled the Definitive Edition (2009). The song also appears on Solveig's fourth studio album, Smash (2011), and as a bonus track on the Australian edition of Dragonette's second studio album, Fixin to Thrill (2009).
"One More Time" is a song by the French electronic music duo Daft Punk, released as a single from their second studio album, Discovery (2001), on 13 November 2000. It is a French house song featuring an auto-tuned vocal performance by Romanthony and a sample of "More Spell on You" by Eddie Johns. The music video forms part of the 2003 anime film Interstella 5555: The 5tory of the 5ecret 5tar 5ystem. "One More Time" reached number one on the French Singles Chart, number two on the UK Singles Chart, and number 61 on the US Billboard Hot 100.
"Big in Japan" is a song performed by French DJ and record producer Martin Solveig and Canadian synthpop band Dragonette from Solveig's fifth studio album, Smash (2011). It features vocals from Japanese girl group Idoling!!!. The song was written and produced by Solveig, and released as the album's third single on 24 October 2011. "Big in Japan" has charted in Belgium, Canada and the United Kingdom.
Cyanotic is a Chicago-based industrial rock collective fronted by Sean Payne that formed in 2002 and released its first full-length album in 2005. Cyanotic is known for its genre-blending work, which fuses traditional industrial beats and vocals with drum n bass, sampling and heavy metal to create a hard, aggressive sound. The band's lyrics contain many tongue-in-cheek references to transhumanism.
"Breezeblocks" is a song by British indie rock band alt-J from their debut studio album An Awesome Wave (2012). The song was released on 18 May 2012 as the album's second single. The song was written by Joe Newman, Gus Unger-Hamilton, Gwil Sainsbury, Thom Green and produced by Charlie Andrew. It reached the top ten in the UK Indie and US Alternative charts, and was voted into third place in Australian radio station Triple J's Hottest 100 of 2012, behind "Thrift Shop" and "Little Talks".
"Pop Culture" is a mash-up song created by Hugo Pierre Leclercq, better known by his stage name, Madeon. The song was recorded on-the-fly by Leclercq, when he was seventeen years old, using samples from 39 popular songs, mixed using the software FL Studio controlled with a Novation Launchpad. Leclercq recorded a video of him creating the mix which he uploaded to YouTube on 11 July 2011. The video went viral within a few days of release, and it has subsequently been seen more than 60 million times. The video drew attention to Leclercq and would lead to him being signed by Columbia Records and launching his music career.
