Victoria Mall is an enclosed shopping mall in Victoria, Texas. It opened in 1981 and is managed by Hull Storey Gibson. Anchor stores are Bealls, Best Buy, two Dillard's locations, JCPenney, and TJ Maxx.

History

Dillard's opened at the mall in 1981. [3] Other major tenants included O.G. Wilson, a catalog showroom chain owned by Zales, [4] Sears, and Bealls. [4] JCPenney moved into Victoria Mall from Town Plaza Mall in 1987. [5]

Zales sold the O.G. Wilson chain in 1986, [6] and the Victoria Mall location remained vacant until Dillard's opened an auxiliary store there in 1993. [7] The same year, F.W. Woolworth closed its store at the mall. [8]

Gap and sister chain Old Navy both joined the mall in 2000. [9] Three years later, Hull Storey Gibson (then known as just Hull Storey) purchased the property. [10] Further renovation in 2005 removed the food court, present since 1985, and relocated restaurants throughout the mall. [11] Best Buy also joined in 2006. [12] Jo-Ann Fabrics, which moved from an existing store in Victoria in 2000, [13] closed in 2007. [14]

Many inline tenants closed in the late 2000s, including Gap, Waldenbooks, f.y.e., Tuesday Morning, Old Navy and a sports bar. [15] [16] [17] These vacancies were countered in 2011 by the addition of Burke's Outlet and TJ Maxx. [18]

On October 15, 2018, it was announced that Sears would be closing as part of a plan to close 142 stores nationwide. [19]

Northpark Mall is a super regional mall located in Joplin, Missouri. The mall opened in 1972 with 600,000 square feet, and featured 60 stores, restaurants, and other services. Today, the Northpark mall is 1,080,000 square feet, and features more than 100 inline tenants including a food court. Northpark Mall is the largest mall in the Joplin region and serves a trade area of nearly 500,000 people. Freeman hospital added a soft play area in the Macy's women's court in the summer of 2014. The mall was also the temporary home of the 11th and 12th grades of Joplin High School until August 2014, when the new high school was completed. Central Mall is an enclosed shopping mall located in Texarkana, Texas. Opened in 1978, the anchor stores are Dillard's and JCPenney.

Greenwood Mall, formerly Crosscreek Mall, is a regional shopping mall located in Greenwood, South Carolina, United States. The mall opened in 1979 and underwent a number of expansions and renovations throughout its history. The original anchor stores were Belk, JCPenney, and Meyers-Arnold, with H. J. Wilson Co. joining in the 1980s. The latter two stores became Uptons and Service Merchandise respectively in the 1980s. Following the closure of those stores, the mall was purchased by a new owner in 2000 and renamed three years later to Greenwood Mall. Renovations beginning in 2009 added The Shoe Dept., TJ Maxx, and Michaels among other stores. Despite these additions, the mall continued to struggle with vacancy, compounded by the closure of JCPenney in 2019. The remaining anchor stores are Belk and TJ Maxx. Hull Property Group owns the mall.

La Gran Plaza de Fort Worth is a Hispanic-themed shopping mall in Fort Worth, Texas. Opened in 1962 as Seminary South and later known as Fort Worth Town Center, it was reinvented as a center catering to largely Hispanic clientele after losing most of its major stores. Major tenants include Burlington, Ross Dress for Less, Bealls Clearance Center, and El Mercado.

Richmond Mall, formerly Richmond Square, is a shopping mall in Richmond, Indiana, United States. Opened in 1964, the mall features two anchor stores: Dillard's and Dunham's Sports, with two vacant anchors previously occupied by JCPenney and OfficeMax. Hull Property Group is manager and owner of the mall.

Uptown Hutch, formerly Hutchinson Mall, is a shopping mall in Hutchinson, Kansas, U.S. Built in 1986, it features Orscheln Farm & Home, Hobby Lobby, Dunham's Sports, TJ Maxx, Hutch Vintage Market, and Ollie's Bargain Outlet as its anchor stores.
