Vinexpo

Vinexpo is one of the largest exhibitions for wine and spirits professionals from all over the world, held in Bordeaux in uneven years. The first event dates back to year 1981 gathering 524 exhibitors from 21 countries 11,000 professional visitors from 50 countries. In 2015 it grew to 2,350 exhibitors (2,400 in 2013 [1] ) from 42 countries. [2] Current Vinexpo Chief Executive Officer is Guillaume Deglise who was appointed in September, 2013 and left the Company after Vinexpo Hong Kong 2018.

History

Vinexpo was created in 1981 and since then has grown and established itself as the key event for major international operators in the wine and spirits sector. During the years its activities expanded beyond the actual exhibition and since 1989 Vinexpo has become a partner for spirits professionals to reflect on trends to anticipate new markets. Vinexpo also commissions studies on industry-specific issues, such as world market study with a 5-year outlook, reports on young people and wine. The findings are then presented in conferences around the world before each exhibition. [1]

To support the initiative of Responsible, balanced consumption of wine and spirits, between 1993 and 2009, Vinexpo also served as venue for the event Savoir Boire, Savoir Vivre organized by professional committees and organizations in order to debate on the relationship between alcohol and health.

Vinexpo has also launched Vinexpo Asia-Pacific in 1998, Vinexpo Americas held in 2002 (North America), Vinexpo Nippon in 2014 (Japan) and Vinexpo Hong Kong is coming up in 2016.

The Hong Kong International Wine & Spirits Fair is a trade fair organized by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC), scheduled to be held annually with its inaugural event held in 2008 at the central location in Hong Kong of the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre.

Asia Game Show

The Asia Game Show (亞洲遊戲展), also known as AGS, was an annual video game expo held at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre in Hong Kong. It was organized by MP International and sponsored by The Chamber of H.K. Computer Industry (香港電腦商會) and commonly held in December. The 2011 Asia Game Show was held from December 23 to December 26, and it broke previous attendance records with over 450,000 visitors.

Vinitaly

Vinitaly is an international wine competition and exposition that is held annually in April in the Italian wine region of Verona in northeast Italy. The event is exclusively for wine professionals featuring an average of 3000 wines from several dozen countries. First held in 1967, VinItaly has been called the "most important convention of domestic and international wines" and the "largest wine show in the world".

Kosherfest

Kosherfest is an annual, two-day trade fair for the kosher-certified food industry held at the Meadowlands Exposition Center in Secaucus, New Jersey. Established in 1989, it includes an exhibition hall, lectures, cooking demonstrations, a culinary competition between celebrity chefs, and new product awards. Kosherfest is considered a showcase for food trends and innovations in the kosher-certified food industry. The event is closed to the public, but admits manufacturers, suppliers, wholesalers, buyers, caterers, retail stores, and media personnel, including photographers and food bloggers. Kosherfest is co-produced by Lubicom Marketing and Consulting and Diversified Communications.
