Vishnu Vijay is an Indian music composer and a prolific flautist [1] who works predominantly in Malayalam cinema. His film music career began with the 2016 Malayalam film Guppy . His other works include Ambili (2019), Thallumaala (2022) Sulaikha Manzil (2023) and Premalu (2024)
Vijay has attended Government Model Boys Higher Secondary School, Thiruvananthapuram for schooling then bachelor of performing arts degree and is a vocal music graduate from Swathi Thirunal College of Music, Thiruvananthapuram. He has received musical training from Kudamaloor Janardanan.
Vishnu has worked with composers Devi Sri Prasad in Tamil and Telugu and also with G. V. Prakash Kumar and Vijay Antony in Tamil, prior to making it into the Malayalam industry. In Malayalam he has associated with Ouseppachan, Gopi Sunder, Vidyasagar and Deepak Dev. [2]
Vijay debuted as an independent music composer through the 2016 Malayalam movie Guppy.

Malayalam cinema is the segment of Indian cinema dedicated to the production of motion pictures in the Malayalam language, which is widely spoken in the state of Kerala, India. In 1982, Elippathayam won the Sutherland Trophy at the London Film Festival, and Most Original Imaginative Film of 1982 by the British Film Institute. The film Marana Simhasanam has won the prestigious Caméra d'Or at the 1999 Cannes Film Festival.
Mohanlal Viswanathan is an Indian actor, film producer, playback singer, film distributor, and director who predominantly works in Malayalam film industry besides also having sporadically appeared in Tamil, Hindi, Telugu and Kannada films. Mohanlal has a prolific career spanning over four decades, during which he has acted in more than 400 films. Mohanlal's contributions to the Malayalam cinema have been praised by his contemporaries in the Indian film industry. The Government of India honoured him with Padma Shri in 2001, and Padma Bhushan in 2019, India's fourth and third highest civilian honours, for his contributions to Indian cinema. Paravoor Govindan Devarajan (1927–2006), popularly known as G. Devarajan or Devarajan master, was an Indian music composer and Carnatic singer. He is widely regarded as one of the greatest composers in the history of Indian film music. He scored music for more than three hundred Malayalam films, many dramas, and twenty Tamil and four Kannada movies. His collaborations with Vayalar Ramavarma produced the golden era of Malayalam film music and many of his compositions remain ever green classics in Malayalam. His music in the Tamil film Annai Velankanni has received many accolades. Devarajan received Kerala Government's Best Music Director award five times, among other honours. In 1999, he was honoured with the J. C. Daniel Award, Kerala government's highest honour for contributions to Malayalam cinema.
