Gary Rhodes was an English restaurateur and television chef, known for his love of English cuisine and ingredients and for his distinctive spiked hair style. He fronted shows such as MasterChef, MasterChef USA, Hell's Kitchen, and his own series, Rhodes Around Britain. As well as owning several restaurants, Rhodes also had his own line of cookware and bread mixes. Rhodes went on to feature in the ITV1 programme Saturday Cooks, as well as the UKTV Food show Local Food Hero before his sudden death at age 59.

He is most notably the bandleader and a co-founder of the rock group Zabranjeno Pušenje, contributing on all Zabranjeno Pušenje releases. RTV BN is currently the highest rated TV channel in the Republika Srpska entity and it is one of leading commercial TV channels in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Dalal and Deen are Bosnian singers, the former known as a member of the duo Erato and the latter having represented Bosnia and Herzegovina in the Eurovision Song Contest 2004, while Ana Rucner is a Croatian cellist and Jala is a Bosnian rapper. In November 2015, the Bosnian broadcaster Radio and Television of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BHRT) announced that they would be returning to the Eurovision Song Contest after a three-year absence after securing sponsorship to cover both the participation fee and all costs related to the participation. In the same month, the broadcaster revealed that they had internally selected Dalal Midhat-Talakić, Fuad Backović-Deen, Ana Rucner and Jasmin Fazlić Jala to compete at the 2016 contest in Stockholm, Sweden. Their song, "Ljubav je", was presented to the public during a show entitled BH Eurosong Show 2016 on 19 February 2016.
