Vojens Airport, also known as Skrydstrup Airport is an airport in Vojens, Denmark. [1] [2] [3] It shares runways with Fighter Wing Skrydstrup.

SønderjyskE is a professional ice hockey team playing in the top Danish ice hockey league Metal Ligaen. The team is part of SønderjyskE which is a sports umbrella with football, handball and ice hockey teams. The team plays home games in Vojens, a small town in the southernmost part of Jutland. SønderjyskE is the only team in Denmark which home arena has a narrow sized rink, whereas all other rinks in the country are standard IIHF sized rinks. Most of the club's foreign players are also originating from North America. SønderjyskE Ishockey Support is the fan club and the biggest icehockey fan club in Denmark with more than 800 members.

The Royal Danish Air Force conducts the annual Danish Air Show at one of its three air bases (AB), Aalborg Air Base, Air Base Karup or Air Base Skrydstrup. In 2005 Karup AB, in 2006 Skrydstrup AB in 2007 Aalborg AB and in 2008 Karup AB. No airshow was held in 2009. The Danish Air Show 2010 was again held at Skrydstrup AB. In 2012 it took place at Aalborg AB. Currently the air show is held at the civilian Roskilde Airport in the vicinity of the Danish capitol in odd years - and at an air base in even years.

Vojens is a railway town in Denmark with a population of 7,475. It was the main town of the now abolished Vojens Municipality, now the second largest town of Haderslev Municipality in Region of Southern Denmark. The town is served by Vojens Airport.

The 2009 FIM Speedway World Championship Grand Prix of Nordic will be the eighth race of the 2009 Speedway Grand Prix season. It took place on 29 August in the Vojens Speedway Center in Vojens, Denmark. Vojens was GP host between 1995 and 2002.
