Charles Frederick "Karch" Kiraly is an American volleyball player, coach, and broadcast announcer. He was a central part of the U.S National Team that won gold medals at the 1984 and 1988 Olympic Games. He went on to win the gold medal again at the 1996 Olympic Games, the first Olympic competition to feature beach volleyball. He is the only player to have won Olympic medals of any color in both the indoor and beach volleyball categories. He played college volleyball for the UCLA Bruins, where his teams won three national championships under head coach Al Scates.

They are the current record holder of FIVB World Grand Prix champion titles, having won it for the eleventh time in 2016 and are the gold medalists of the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing and 2012 Summer Olympics in London. The team also got a gold four times in the Pan American Games, and three other Olympic medals, the latest a silver in the 2020 Summer Olympics.
Peter Blangé is a retired volleyball player from the Netherlands who represented his native country in four consecutive Summer Olympics, starting in 1988 in Seoul, South Korea. Four years later, he helped the Dutch national team win the silver medal in the 1992 Olympics in Barcelona, Spain. Blangé then won the gold medal with the national team in the 1996 Olympics in Atlanta by defeating Italy in the final. His final Olympic appearance as an athlete was in the 2000 Olympics in Sydney, Australia. He was a setter.
Ronald ("Ron") Ferdinand Zwerver is a retired volleyball player from the Netherlands who represented his native country in three consecutive Summer Olympics, starting in 1988 in Seoul, South Korea. He was one of the dominant forces in Dutch volleyball in the 1990s. He was selected as the Best Attacker at both the 1990 and 1994 FIVB World Championships.
Scott Thomas Fortune is an American former volleyball player. He was an All-American at Stanford University and a three-time Olympian for the United States national team. He helped the United States win the gold medal at the 1988 Summer Olympics in Seoul, South Korea.
Jeffrey Malcolm Stork is a former American volleyball player and coach. He is also a three-time Olympian. He was a member of the United States national teams that won the gold medal in the 1988 Summer Olympics and the bronze medal in the 1992 Summer Olympics, and also competed in the 1996 Summer Olympics. He is regarded as one of the best setters of all time, and was known to play well under pressure.

Tara Cross-Battle is a retired volleyball player from the United States who competed in four Summer Olympics overall, starting in 1992. Cross-Battle won the bronze medal with the United States women's national team at the 1992 Summer Olympics in Barcelona, Spain. Her last Olympic appearance was at the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens, Greece.
Eric Anthony Sato is an American former volleyball player and two-time Olympian. He was a member of the United States national volleyball team that won the gold medal at the 1988 Summer Olympics in Seoul, South Korea. He also played in the 1992 Summer Olympics in Barcelona, Spain and won a bronze medal. He was a serving and defensive specialist, and was widely considered to be the best defensive player in the world. After the Olympics, he played professional beach volleyball.

Bernardo Rocha de Rezende, known as Bernardo Rezende and nicknamed Bernardinho, is a Brazilian volleyball coach and former player. He is the current coach of the female volleyball team Rio de Janeiro Vôlei Clube. Rezende is one of the most successful coaches in the history of volleyball, accumulating more than 30 major titles in a twenty-year career directing the Brazilian male and female teams.
Renan Dal Zotto, more commonly known as Renan, is a Brazilian former volleyball player who competed in three Summer Olympics and is the currently head coach of the Brazilian men's national volleyball team. He was born in São Leopoldo, Rio Grande do Sul. In 1980, he was part of the Brazilian team that finished fifth in the Olympic tournament. He played five matches.

José Roberto Lages Guimarães, known as Zé Roberto, is a Brazilian former volleyball player and current coach. He currently coaches Grêmio Recreativo Barueri. He played volleyball between years 1967–1988 as a professional player and has coached since 1988. He first coached Brazilian women team Eletropaulo. He competed in the men's tournament at the 1976 Summer Olympics.
