Wheeler House Complex is a historic home and commercial structures located at Leonardsville in Madison County, New York. The complex consists of the Weheeler House and bank, the carriage house, and the Wheeler commercial block. The Wheeler House was built in 1874 and is a 2 12-story, frame building with an engaged octagonal tower in the Italianate style. The Wheeler Block was also built in 1874 and is a 2-story frame structure with pedimented gable ends. [2]

It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1983. [1]

Built in 1872, it is a good local example of Second Empire architecture, seeing a variety of civic and commercial uses. The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places on April 16, 1993.

Van Ornam & Murdock Block United States historic place

Van Ornam & Murdock Block, also known as Lee House Block, is a historic commercial block located at Port Henry in Essex County, New York. The block consists of four attached structures in the Italianate style built between 1874 and about 1880. It is the focal point of the Port Henry business district. The Van Ornam Block was built in 1874 and is a ​3 12-story brick building with an ornately bracketed wood cornice. The 4-story Lee House Hotel was also built in 1874 and is a 4-story brick structure. The next building was built about 1880 and is a 2-story wood-frame building with a stamped metal facade. The Harlan building is last on the block and it was also built about 1880. It is a 2-story, flat-roofed brick structure.

Croghan Island Mill United States historic place

Croghan Island Mill is a historic saw mill complex and concrete dam located near Croghan in Lewis County, New York. The mill complex consists of three blocks; the mill building main block, cold storage block, and office block. The main block is a five-by-three-bay, ​2 12-story gable-roofed structure sheathed in clapboard, approximately 30 feet by 56 feet in size. The cold storage block is a 1-story, gable-roofed addition to the north side of the main block. The office block is a ​1 12-story, shed-roofed addition projecting south of the main block. The complex also includes the wheel house and flume box in a ​1 12-story ell projecting off the main block. The concrete dam was built in 1906 and has an approximately 2-story drop.

Moser Farm United States historic place

Moser Farm, also known as The Mennonite Heritage Farm or Adirondack Mennonite Heritage Farm, is a historic farm complex located near Kirschnerville in Lewis County, New York. The complex consists of Moser family dwelling and a compact grouping of a granary and two English barns. The frame dwelling was built in 1845 and consists of a 2-story, three-bay block and four-bay, ​1 12-story ell. It was used for Mennonite worship services in the 19th century. The granary dates to the mid- to late 19th century, and the barns date to 1874. The property was purchased in the 1980s as a living history museum.

Avery Farmhouse is a historic home and farm complex located at Duanesburg in Schenectady County, New York. The house was built about 1850 by noted master carpenter Alexander Delos "Boss" Jones. It is a two-story, "T" shaped, clapboard sided frame building in the Greek Revival style. The main block is flanked by two one story frame wings. It features a giant pedimented portico supported by square columns. Contributing outbuildings include five silos, a garage, a large multi-component barn complex, and a barn.

Byecroft Farm Complex United States historic place

Byecroft Farm Complex, also known as "Old Congress," is a historic home and farm complex located in Buckingham Township, Bucks County, Pennsylvania. The oldest section of the main house was built in 1702, with three later additions. It consists of a central block with three wings. The central block was built in 1732, and is a 2 1/2-story, three bay coursed fieldstone structure. The northeast wing consists of the original one-story structure built in 1702, with a second story added in 1775. A wing to the southwest was added in 1775, and expanded to 2 1/2-stories about 1830. In 1934-1935, a 1 1/2-story, two bay, addition was built onto the southwest wing. The house is reflective of the Georgian style. Also on the property are the contributing Old Bye Barn, carriage house / studio, two-story frame barn, small carriage house / cottage, and pumphouse and well house.

Exchange Street Historic District is a national historic district located at Attica in Wyoming County, New York. The district encompasses 12 contributing buildings along two blocks in the village of Attica. They are two- and three-story, brick and frame commercial buildings built after the fire of 1877. The buildings provided service and hospitality for rail passengers and for cultural and social events for Attica's citizens. They include the Williams Opera House (1879), Wyoming House (1878), Hotel Liberty or Attica Hotel, The Railroad Store, Erie House (1880), Spann Block (1874), Western Hotel (1832), and Erie Depot (1879).

Alma Downtown Historic District (Alma, Michigan) United States historic place

The Alma Downtown Historic District is a commercial historic district in Alma, Michigan, roughly located along Superior Street between the Pine River and Prospect Avenue, and along State Street between Center and Downie Streets. Parts of the district were designated a Michigan State Historic Site in 1975, and the entirety was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2013. It contains 72 structures, primarily brick commercial buildings, ranging from one to three stories in height and dating from 1874 to the 1960s.

The Nicholas P. Clase House is a historic house on the south side of Station Road, west of its junction with Capitol Hill Road, in New Sweden, Maine. It is a log structure, built in 1874 by a Swedish immigrant to the area, and is one of a small number of surviving log structures in Maine built using Swedish techniques. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1989, at which time it was still in the hands of Clase's descendants.
