Woodland School District 50 is in Lake County, Illinois. The school has approximately 800 students per grade and is the seventh largest school district in Illinois.[ citation needed ] The district's superintendent is Lori Casey. [1]

The student population is 5,600 students in the grades of Kindergarten through eighth grade. There are four schools: the primary school, the elementary school, the intermediate school, and the middle school. The primary school offers early childhood programs and kindergarten. The elementary school teaches grades one and two. The intermediate school has third, fourth and fifth grades, as well as the third grade dual language program. Woodland Middle School is the home of grades 6–8. [2]

Bethalto Community Unit School District 8 is a unified school district based in the Madison County village of Bethalto, Illinois; the district is on the outskirts of the St. Louis Metro Area. The district is composed of five schools, of which all are located in the village of Bethalto except for one. The district is composed of two primary schools, one intermediate schools, one middle school, and one high school. Students attending the unified school district begin their educations at Bethalto East Primary School which serves grades Pre-Kindergarten through first grade. Next, students attend Parkside Primary School, which serve students in grades second and third; the principals of each school are, respectively, Rachel Leckrone and Aaron Kilpatrick. Steger School District 194 is a school district based in the village of Steger, Illinois, a Chicago suburb located in the extreme southern reaches of Cook County, and the northern portion of Will County. The district is composed of one middle school and three elementary schools; all schools are located in Steger with the exception of one. District students in grades that range between kindergarten and fourth grade attend one of the three elementary schools.
