The World Armwrestling Federation (WAF) is an international federation of national and regional arm wrestling associations. Currently, WAF has members from 82 countries.

World Armwrestling Federation (WAF) is the international governing organization for the sport of arm wrestling, established in 1977. WAF is WADA Code Compliant. The WAF is the main organizer of the World Armwrestling Championships, which is held every year. Official programme has 36 events for senior athletes. [2]

The 2021 World Armwrestling Championship was the 42nd edition of the World Armwrestling Championship held in Bucharest, Romania from 24 November to 3 December. The event was supposed to be held from 18 to 27 September 2020 in Batumi, Georgia. It was later postponed and then moved to another location. Georgian Armwrestling Federation was disqualified by the WAF Executive Board because of failing to organize the 2021 World Armwrestling Championship.

Turkish Bodybuilding, Fitness and Armwrestling Federation is the governing body of bodybuilding, physical fitness and arm wrestling in Turkey. It was formed in 1991, and is based in Ankara. It is a member of the World Bodybuilding Federation, World Fitness Federation and World Armwrestling Federation.
