The World Junior Memory Championships (WJMC) runs as a subset of the World Memory Championships (WMC).
All competitors need to be between 13 and 17 years old to qualify. [1] For many countries, in addition to age requirements, one needs to go through a series of regional and national qualification competitions before they can apply for WJMC. [2] The recent champions are from Mongolia, China and Germany. [3]

The World Rally Championship is the highest level of global competition in the motorsport discipline of rallying, owned and governed by the FIA. There are separate championships for drivers, co-drivers, manufacturers and teams. The series currently consists of 12 two to three-day rally events driven on surfaces ranging from gravel and tarmac to snow and ice. Each rally is usually split into 15–25 special stages which are run against the clock on closed roads.
Synchronized skating is a gender neutral sport where between eight and sixteen perform together as a team. They move as a flowing unit at high speed over the ice, while completing complicated footwork and elements. This complex sport was originated in 1956 was first called "precision skating," because of the emphasis on maintaining precise formations and timing of the group. Synchronized skating's popularity has grow immensely over the past 40 years and has been quickly embraced by several European countries who have produced teams that dominate international championships year after year. Today there are more than 600 synchro teams in the United States alone.
The World Memory Championships is an organized competition of memory sports in which competitors memorize as much information as possible within a given period of time. The championship has taken place annually since 1991, with the exception of 1992. It was originated by Tony Buzan and co founded by Tony Buzan and Ray Keene. It continues to be organized by the World Memory Sports Council (WMSC), which was jointly founded by Tony Buzan and Ray Keene. In 2016, due to a dispute between some players and the WMSC, the International Association of Memory (IAM) was launched. From 2017 onward, both organizations have hosted their own world championships.
Alexander Alexandrovich Majorov is a Swedish retired figure skater. He is the 2017 Winter Universiade bronze medalist, the 2011 World Junior bronze medalist, a five-time Nordic champion, and a four-time Swedish national champion. His best finish at the European Championships is 6th (2013). He was 14th at the 2014 Winter Olympics.
The British Supersport Championship, National Superstock 1000 & 600 and the British Motostar Championship are the four main championship series that are run as support races alongside the British Superbike Championship. In 2012 the Motostar category replaced the defunct 125cc category that had been running since the start of the British Superbike Championship in 1988, Motostar was open to both 125 and 250 machines similar to Moto 3 machines. The Supersport racing started in 1989 and is a class comprising 600cc Motorcycles that are allowed racing modifications and custom tuning. It wasn't until 2000 that the Superstock 1000 category replaced the defunct 250cc category, with the Superstock 600 championship being the newest addition on the support series in 2008. In 2010 the Superstock 1000 and Superstock 600 categories also supported the British rounds of the Superbike World Championship and the Moto GP both at Silverstone.

Nelson Charles Dellis is an American memory athlete, Grandmaster of Memory, mountaineer, published author, public speaker, and consultant. He is a five-time USA Memory Champion, holding the record for most wins of the national memory champion title. He is also one of the co-founders of Memory League. Nelson also runs Climb 4 Memory - a nonprofit which "aims to raise funds and awareness for Alzheimer's disease research through mountain climbs around the world."
Geraldina Asher-Smith is a British sprinter. She is the fastest British woman in recorded history and has been listed in the Powerlist as one of the UK's most influential people of African/African Caribbean descent, most recently in the 2021 edition. Asher-Smith has won a gold medal in the 200 m, silver in the 100 m, and another silver in the 4×100 m relay at the 2019 World Championships, breaking in the individual races her own British records with results which still stand. Aged 24, she was the first Briton to win three medals at a World Championships. At the relay event, she earned medals from the 2016 Rio Olympics and 2020 Tokyo Olympics, and also from the 2013 and 2017 World Championships.

Sri Vyshnavi Yarlagadda is an International Grandmaster of Memory. She attained her career-best rank no. 2 in October 2013 in Names and Faces event by the World Memory Sports Council. She is the first Indian to win an open category medal at the World Memory Championships. She achieved this feat by winning the gold medal in Names and Faces event at the 20th World Memory Championship 2011 on 7 December 2011 in Guangzhou, China.
The 2016 World Junior Ice Hockey Championships was the 40th Ice Hockey World Junior Championship. It was hosted in Helsinki, Finland. It began on December 26, 2015, and ended with the gold medal game on January 5, 2016. This marked the sixth time that Finland has hosted the WJC, and the hosts defeated Russia 4–3 in overtime to win their fourth title in history and second in the last three years. Belarus was relegated to Division I-A for 2017 by merit of their tenth-place finish, while Finnish right winger Jesse Puljujärvi earned MVP and top scorer honors.
Alex Mullen is an American memory competitor, three-time world memory champion, and physician. The first American to win the world title, he won for three consecutive years the 2015, 2016, and 2017 World Memory Championships and held the IAM world No. 1 ranking from 2016-2019. He is also the 2016 USA memory champion. Along with his wife, he runs Mullen Memory - a nonprofit which "provides free resources exploring memory palaces as learning tools."
The Oceania Beach Handball Championship is the official competition for Under 17 years national beach handball teams of Oceania region. It was first organized by the Oceania Continent Handball Federation in 2017. The first champions for boys were Australia and for girls America Samoa. In addition to crowning the Oceania champions, the tournament also serves as a qualifying tournament for the World Championships and also the Youth Olympic Games. The first competition was held in Raratonga in the Cook Islands from 3 May 2017 until 5 May 2017.
The International Association of Memory (IAM) is an international organization that connects the various national memory sport federations and acts as a governing body of international memory competition. The IAM was founded on 5 July 2016 and has its headquarters in Munich, Germany.
