Yaseen Valli (born 3 June 1995) is a South African cricketer. [1] He was part of South Africa's squad for the 2014 ICC Under-19 Cricket World Cup. He was included in the Gauteng cricket team squad for the 2015 Africa T20 Cup. [2]

In June 2018, he was named in the squad for the Highveld Lions team for the 2018–19 season. [3] In September 2019, he was named in Easterns' squad for the 2019–20 CSA Provincial T20 Cup. [4] In January 2020, in the 2019–20 CSA 3-Day Provincial Cup match against Boland, Valli and Andrea Agathangelou made an opening partnership of 485 runs, breaking the previous record in a first-class match in South Africa of 424 runs set in the 1926–27 season. [5] In April 2021, he was named in South Western Districts' squad, ahead of the 2021–22 cricket season in South Africa. [6]

The 2019–20 CSA 3-Day Provincial Cup was a first-class cricket competition that took place in South Africa from October 2019 to April 2020. On 16 March 2020, Cricket South Africa suspended all cricket in the country for 60 days due to the COVID-19 pandemic. On 24 March 2020, Easterns and KwaZulu-Natal were named as the joint-winners of the tournament. KwaZulu-Natal finished top of group B, with Easterns named joint-winners despite not topping their group, but played one match fewer than other teams, with their victory coming via an average points calculation. This was following the recommendations made by Graeme Smith, the acting Director of Cricket.
