The Yemeni Confederation of Labor Unions (YCLU) is the sole national trade union center in Yemen. It was formed in 1990 by the merger of the Aden Trade Union Congress and the General Confederation of Workers' Trade Unions.

The YCLU is affiliated to the World Federation of Trade Unions. In 2002, the Yemeni Confederation of Labor Unions had 350,000 members in 14 unions.

The war in Yemen has negatively impacted trade unions and workers in Yemen. In 2017, Ali Belkhadr, the Head of the General Federation of Trade Unions of Yemen, called on international financial organizations and the United Nations to pressure the warring parties to agree on a mechanism to pay the salaries of workers. The Fiji Trades Union Congress (FTUC) is a trade union organisation in Fiji that was founded in 1952 under the leadership of Pandit Ami Chandra as the Fiji Industrial Workers Congress (FIWC). As the FIWC the organisation was the third federation in Oceania, after the Australian Council of Trade Unions and the New Zealand Council of Trade Unions, to join the International Confederation of Free Trade Unions. In 1975 the FTUC's membership was 25,000. The FTUC is affiliated to the International Trade Union Confederation. It has a close relationship with the Fiji Labour Party. The FTUC has 30 trade union affiliates, covering the public and private sectors. Major affiliates include: the Fiji Public Service Association, the Fiji Teachers Union, the Fiji Sugar & General Workers Union, the National Union of Hospitality, Catering & Tourism Industries Employees and the National Union of Factory and Commercial Workers Union.

The Italian Labour Union or UIL is a national trade union center in Italy. It was founded in 1950 as a socialist, social democratic, (republican) and laic split from the Italian General Confederation of Labour. It represents almost 2.2 million workers.


The General Federation of Jordanian Trade Unions (GFJTU) is the national trade union center in Jordan. It was founded in 1954.


The Myanmar Maritime Trade Unions Federation, formerly known as Seafarers Union of Burma (SUB) is a trade union in Myanmar. It represents an estimated 20,000-30,000 workers in the international shipping industry, many of whom work on Flag of Convenience ships and suffer from poor work and pay conditions.

The Vietnam General Confederation of Labour (VGCL) is the sole national trade union center in Vietnam. It was founded 29 July 1929 as the Red Workers' General Union in Northern Vietnam, and extended into the entire country after the collapse of South Vietnam in 1975.
