Yonaka (stylised as YONAKA) are an English rock band based out of Brighton. The group consists of Theresa Jarvis on vocals, George Edwards on guitar, Alex Crosby on bass and keyboards. Yonaka released their debut album, Don't Wait 'Til Tomorrow, on 31 May 2019.
Yonaka performed on the BBC Introducing stage at Radio 1's Big Weekend 2016 and released their debut EP, Heavy, the following year. 2018 saw the group issue two further EPs, Teach Me to Fight and Creature. The title track from Creature reached the top spot of the Kerrang! Rock Chart in December 2018. [1]
In autumn 2018, the band went on a European tour with Bring Me the Horizon and Fever 333 and in October 2018, they played a four-track session at the BBC Maida Vale studios, during which they presented a live mashup of the songs "Jumpsuit" and "Paparazzi". [2]
"Teach Me to Fight" was used as the official theme song for the WWE pay-per-view event Fastlane in March 2019 [3] and in Fate: The Winx Saga.
In May 2019, Yonaka signed with American label Fueled by Ramen, [4] ahead of the release of their debut album, Don't Wait 'Til Tomorrow, on 31 May. The album reached 38 on the UK Albums Chart and 10 on the UK Vinyl Albums Chart. [5] The band were also nominated for Best British Newcomer at the 2019 Kerrang! Awards. [6]
In December 2019, they featured on Bring Me the Horizon's song "Tapes", which appeared on their EP Music to Listen To... . [7]
In a session made in July 2020 for Amazon Music UK's Twitch channel, which was later deleted a month after the broadcast, Yonaka performed for the first time an unreleased song called "Ordinary".
On 27 January 2021, the band released "Seize the Power", the first official single from their mixtape of the same name. On the track, Yonaka commented: "It's been so long since we released new music and the time has finally come; this is a new chapter for us. We want you to get lost in a feeling of strength and empowerment when listening to this song". [8] The mixtape was released on 15 July 2021 and featured appearances from Fever 333 and Barns Courtney. [9] Yonaka are scheduled to appear on Palaye Royale's 2023 Fever Dream European + UK tour [10] to support Seize the Power. [11]

Metalcore is a fusion genre combining elements of extreme metal and hardcore punk, that originated in the late 1980s. Metalcore is noted for its use of breakdowns, which are slow, intense passages conducive to moshing, while other defining instrumentation includes heavy guitar riffs often utilizing percussive pedal tones and double bass drumming. Vocalists in the genre typically perform screaming, more popular bands often combine this with the use of standard singing, usually during the bridge or chorus of a song. However, the death growl is also a popular technique within the genre.
Kane Brett Robinson, better known as Kano, is a British rapper, songwriter and actor from East Ham, London. A significant contributor to grime music, he is widely considered one of the pioneers of the grime culture, alongside artists such as Wiley and Dizzee Rascal. His fifth album, Made in the Manor was shortlisted for the 2016 Mercury Prize and won Best Album at the 2016 MOBO Awards. On screen, he is best known for playing the role of Sully in Top Boy.
William Control is an American music project founded in 2008 in Seattle, Washington. It was the side project of Aiden's William Francis before Aiden's hiatus, and he later operated as William Control full-time. 'William Control' therefore refers to both the band as a whole and to Francis as his stage name. Francis was signed to Victory Records before starting his own independent label, Control Records, and, as William Control, has released five full-length albums, an EP, two acoustic albums, two live DVDs and a remix album (Remix). The first part of Revelations, The Pale, was released on October 14, 2016. The second EP The Black followed on February 17, 2017, and the third, entitled The Red, followed that with a release date of July 14 of the same year. The album was completed by The White on November 24.
There Is a Hell Believe Me I've Seen It. There Is a Heaven Let's Keep It a Secret. is the third studio album by British rock band Bring Me the Horizon. It was released on 4 October 2010 by Visible Noise. The album was produced by Fredrik Nordström and Henrick Udd at IF Studios in Gothenburg, Sweden, with additional work at Sunset Lodge Studios in Los Angeles, California. It features guest vocals from Canadian singer Lights, British singer Josh Franceschi, and American vocalist Josh Scogin.

Andrew Dennis Biersack, formerly known as Andy Six, is an American singer. He is the founder and lead vocalist of the rock band Black Veil Brides and is its only remaining original member. Bury Tomorrow are a British metalcore band formed in 2006 in Southampton, Hampshire, England. The band is composed of six members; lead vocalist Daniel Winter-Bates, bassist Davyd Winter-Bates, drummer Adam Jackson, lead guitarist Kristan Dawson, who replaced founding guitarist Mehdi Vismara in 2013, rhythm guitarist Ed Hartwell, and keyboardist and vocalist Tom Prendergast, who both replaced Jason Cameron in 2021. Cavalier Youth is the fourth studio album by English rock band You Me at Six, released on 27 January 2014 through BMG. A few months after the release of their third studio album Sinners Never Sleep, the band had started writing new material in early 2012. By the end of that year, they left their label Virgin Records and management; pre-production and further writing followed into early 2013. Neal Avron was enlisted to produce the band's next album, which was recorded in July and August 2013 at NRG Studio and Avron's home studio La Casita, both in Los Angeles, California. Cavalier Youth is an alternative rock and pop rock album, which saw input from the rest of the band members on the lyrics.

"Drown" is a song by British rock band Bring Me the Horizon released on 21 October 2014. Originally released as a stand-alone single, a remixed version features on the band's fifth studio album That's the Spirit and was released as the lead single. The track, musically, marks a shift away from the band's previously established metalcore sound. Rather, it was described by critics as a pop punk-leaning emo and rock song, being the later showcased as arena rock. It is available to play in the music video game Guitar Hero Live, added on 12 January 2016.
The discography of Neck Deep, a Welsh pop punk band, consists of five studio albums, one compilation album, three extended plays (EPs), eighteen singles and twenty-five music videos. Formed in Wrexham in 2012, Neck Deep originally featured lead vocalist Ben Barlow, lead guitarist Lloyd Roberts, rhythm guitarist Matt West, bassist Fil Thorpe-Evans and drummer Dani Washington. The band signed with independent record label We Are Triumphant in June 2012, before releasing their debut EP Rain in July in September that year. This was later followed by a second EP entitled A History of Bad Decisions, which was self-released by the band on 19 February 2013. Pinky Swear Records also issued the Rain in July and A History of Bad Decisions EPs together as a double 12" vinyl compilation on the same day.

Produced by keyboardist Jordan Fish and vocalist Oliver Sykes, it was featured on the band's 2015 fifth studio album That's the Spirit and released as the third single from the album on 24 July 2015. The single topped the UK Rock & Metal Singles Chart and the US Billboard Mainstream Rock chart, and reached number 51 on the UK Singles Chart and number 12 on the Billboard Hot Rock Songs chart.

Formed in Southampton by vocalist Will Gould, guitarists Ian Miles and Sina Nemati, bassist Sean Scott and drummer Dan Bratton, Creeper independently released their self-titled debut EP in June 2014. Fever 333 is an American rock band formed in Inglewood, California, in July 2017. The three-piece band was founded by former Letlive vocalist Jason Aalon Butler, former the Chariot guitarist Stephen Harrison and Night Verses drummer Aric Improta.
