Zakaki is one of the quarters of Limassol municipality on the island of Cyprus. It is the westernmost part of the municipality. It started as a village. In 1972 it was incorporated with the Limassol Municipality and since then it is one of the quarters of the city's central municipality. According to the 2011 census, Zakaki had 5,874 inhabitants. [1]

The Limassol Carnival Festival is an annual European carnival event held in Limassol, Cyprus. The main parade is held 12 days before the start of Lent, on the Sunday before Ash Monday, 50 days before Orthodox Easter. The festival is a colourful 10-day event of people eating, singing, satire, games, wearing costumes, and attending parties. The festival culminates with a large parade, which includes an array of floats traversing the city.

Omonoia, is a quarter in the municipality of Limassol in the Limassol District of Cyprus. It is situated near the Port of Limassol. The quarter takes its name from the Omonoias Avenue. It borders Saint Spyridonas to the west and Agios Ioannis to the east. Many central avenues go by around Omonoia, namely Pafou Avenue, Omonoias Avenue, Franklin Roosevelt Avenue and Makarios Avenue, making it a high traffic area.
