The Barcelona Metro is a network of rapid transit electrified railway lines that run mostly underground in central Barcelona and into the city's suburbs. It is part of the larger public transport system of Barcelona, the capital of Catalonia, Spain, with unified fares under the Autoritat del Transport Metropolità (ATM) scheme. As of 2014, the network is operated by two separate companies: Transports Metropolitans de Barcelona (TMB) and Ferrocarrils de la Generalitat de Catalunya (FGC). It is made up of 12 lines, combining the lines owned by the two companies. Two lines, L9 and L10, are being built at present, with both lines having different sections of each opened between 2009 and 2018. They are due to be fully completed in 2026. Three lines on the network have opened as automatic train operation/driverless vehicle systems since 2009: Line 11 being converted to driverless first, and then Lines 9 and 10, opening up driverless.
The Port of Barcelona is a major port in Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain. Its 7.86 km2 (3 sq mi) are divided into three zones: Port Vell, the commercial/industrial port, and the logistics port. The port is managed by the Port Authority of Barcelona, itself owned by the state-owned Ports of the State.
Line 2 is a metro line in Barcelona operated by TMB, coloured purple and sometimes called línia lila. It is part of the city's ATM fare-integrated transport network.
Line 9 is a completely automated line of the Barcelona Metro network that is currently under construction, with 24 stations open in Barcelona and El Prat de Llobregat, L'Hospitalet de Llobregat, Badalona and Santa Coloma de Gramenet suburbs, since December 2009. The line is currently disconnected in two branches, with a connecting part between the two yet to be built. The Aeroport T1 – Zona Universitària section is called L9 South, and the La Sagrera – Can Zam portion L9 North. Upon completion, it will be the longest underground metro line in Europe.
Zona Universitària is a station in the Barcelona Metro and Trambaix networks, in the Les Corts district of Barcelona. It is currently the western terminus of metro line L3 and L9. Also it's served by tram lines T1, T2 and T3. It is named after the Universitat de Barcelona campus of the same name.
Line 10 is the name of one of the two branches of the Barcelona metro line 9, currently (2020) under construction and to be operated by TMB. Like Line 9 and Line 11, it will be an automatic train operation metro line.
Airport T2 is both a Rodalies de Catalunya commuter rail station and a Barcelona Metro station serving terminal complex T2 of Barcelona–El Prat Airport. They are located adjacent to the airport's terminal T2B, in the municipality of El Prat de Llobregat, to the southwest of Barcelona, in Catalonia, Spain. The Rodalies de Catalunya station is the southern terminus of the current rail link coming from El Prat de Llobregat railway station. It is operated by Renfe Operadora and is served by Barcelona commuter rail service line R2 Nord. The metro station is on the airport branch of Barcelona Metro line 9 (L9) and is operated by Transports Metropolitans de Barcelona (TMB).

Zona Franca is a logistics and industrial area located in the Sants-Montjuïc district of Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain. Together with the adjacent Port of Barcelona it forms the neighborhood Zona Franca – Port.
The line VI of the Barcelona Metro network was an ambitious 1965 project for a proposed underground railway line in the city of Barcelona. The line would have stretched from the Zona Franca towards Plaça de Francesc Macià, and from there into Travessera de Gràcia, Glòries, the Besòs River area, northern Badalona, and Montigalà in Santa Coloma de Gramenet. This very costly project was progressively abandoned: first, in 1984, by shortening the line. Later, in 1996, a new plan was devised for the city's public transport infrastructures. In 2001 yet another plan (PDI) was put forward, discarding the line, and proposing other transport projects instead.

Fira, originally known as Fira 2 – Pedrosa, is a Barcelona Metro station serving Fira de Barcelona's Fira Gran Via major trade fair venue and the Pedrosa industrial park, in the L'Hospitalet de Llobregat municipality, to the south-west of Barcelona. It is situated underneath Avinguda Joan Carles I, at the intersection with Pedrosa and Botànica streets. It has a direct access to Fira Gran Via's main entrance. The station was designed by Japanese architect Toyo Ito.
Can Tries | Gornal is a Barcelona Metro station, in the L'Hospitalet de Llobregat municipality of the Barcelona metropolitan area, and named after the nearby Gornal neighbourhood. The station is served by line L9 and line L10.
Foneria is a Barcelona Metro station opened on 8 September 2018, operated by TMB. The metro station is located in Zona Franca, a neighborhood of the Barcelona municipality. The station serves line L10 and is located between Provençana and Foc stations in the southern part of the city. The station is located underneath the Passeig de la Zona Franca.
