The Mizo National Front is a regional political party in Mizoram, India. MNF emerged from the Mizo National Famine Front, which was formed by Pu Laldenga to protest against the inaction of the Indian central government towards the famine situation in the Mizo areas of the Assam state in 1959. The Mizoram Legislative Assembly election, 2013 was held on 25 November 2013 in all 40 constituencies of the Legislative Assembly of Mizoram. Results were declared on 9 December. The main contest was between incumbent the Indian National Congress and the Mizo National Front led Mizoram Democratic Alliance. Incumbent Chief Minister Pu Lalthanhawla and his party Indian National Congress won a majority and continued in government.

Later all these parties merged into a single entity. In 2018 Mizoram Legislative Assembly election, it has emerged as movement group and support some independent candidate with same symbol, flag and policy and won 8 seats. Zoram People's Movement was reformed as a political party from movement group.

Lalnghinglova Hmar is a journalist and sports promoter in Mizoram, India. He works as the joint editor of Vanglaini, a leading daily newspaper in Mizo language. He is also currently the honorary secretary of Mizoram Football Association and Executive Committee member of the All India Football Federation. Through his journalism and sports activities, he has been credited with the revolution of football in Mizoram. He is the founding member of the Zoram People's Movement, a regional political party in Mizoram. He was elected to the Mizoram Legislative Assembly from Aizawl North 2 constituency in the 2018 general election as an independent candidate. He defeated Lalthanliana of Mizoram People's Conference, the then sitting MLA, H. Liansailova of Indian National Congress, and Laltlanzova Khiangte of Mizo National Front.
