Jagat Prakash "J.P." Nadda is an Indian lawyer and politician who serving as the 34th Minister of Health, 25th Minister of Chemicals and Fertilizers since 2024 and 11th President of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) since 2020 and the member of the Rajya Sabha representing Gujarat since 2024. A key decision maker of the BJP, he is a close aide to Narendra Modi. He was the BJP's working president from 2019 to 2020. Nadda was also the Minister of Health and Family Welfare in the first Modi ministry from 2014 to 2019 and Parliamentary Board Secretary of Bharatiya Janata Party. The Maharashtra Legislative Assembly is the lower house of the legislature of the Indian state of Maharashtra. It is situated in the Nariman Point area of South Mumbai in the capital Mumbai. Presently, 288 members of the Legislative Assembly are directly elected from the single-seat constituencies.

Yerram Venkata Subba Reddy is an Indian Politician who served as the Member of Parliament to the 16th Lok Sabha from Ongole, Andhra Pradesh. In 2019, he has been appointed as the Chairman of Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams, which is equivalent to Minister rank in Andhra Pradesh Government.

Rajya Sabha elections were held throughout 2022, to elect the retiring members of the Rajya Sabha, the Indian Parliament's upper house.

Elections in India in 2023 were held in the Rajya Sabha, state legislative assemblies of nine states and several local bodies.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">2024 Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly election</span>

The 2024 Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly election were held in the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh on 13 May 2024 for constituting the sixteenth Andhra Pradesh Assembly. They were held alongside the 2024 Indian general election. Election results were declared on 4 June 2024.

The 2024 elections in India includes the general election and elections to the Rajya Sabha, to state legislative assemblies, to Panchayats and urban local bodies.

The Seventeenth Legislative Assembly of West Bengal constituted after the 2021 West Bengal Legislative Assembly elections which were concluded earlier on 29 April 2021 and the results were announced on 2 May 2021. The tenure of West Bengal Legislative Assembly is scheduled to end on 7 May 2026.

The 14th Legislative Assembly of Himachal Pradesh is formed following the 2022 Assembly election for all 68 seats in the unicameral legislature. In December 2027, the 14th Assembly's term will come to an end.
