Burlington County is a county in the U.S. state of New Jersey. The county is the largest in New Jersey by area. Its county seat is Mount Holly. As of the 2020 United States Census, Burlington County's population was 461,860, making it the 11th-largest of the state's 21 counties and representing a 13,126 (2.9%) increase from the 448,734 residents enumerated in the 2010 census, which in turn was an increase of 25,340 (6.0%) from the 423,394 enumerated in the 2000 Census. The most populous place in the county was Evesham Township, with 45,538 residents at the time of the 2010 Census, while Washington Township covered 102.71 square miles (266.0 km2), the largest area of any municipality in Burlington County.

As of the 2010 United States Census, the township's population was 8,813 reflecting an increase of 1,596 (+22.1%) from the 7,217 counted in the 2000 Census, which had in turn increased by 1,213 (+20.2%) from the 6,004 counted in the 1990 Census.

The Willingboro Public Library (WPL), located in Willingboro Township, New Jersey, United States, is the municipal public library for the community of 36,500. It first opened in 1960 and, although in Burlington County, operates independently from the Burlington County Library System. Before 2003, the library was housed in the township's municipal building on Salem Road. The current library building is 42,000 square feet (3,900 m2) and is an anchor for the new Willingboro Town Center on Route 130.
Reverend Willie R. James, Sr. served as an important early civil rights activist in New Jersey starting in late 1950s and helped to end housing discrimination in that state. James later became head of the Burlington County Chapter of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People and remained active in social issues including fighting poverty, job discrimination and ending the death penalty.

The Burlington County Institute of Technology Westampton Campus is a four-year countywide vocational-technical public high school serving students in ninth through twelfth grades from Burlington County, New Jersey, United States, as part of the Burlington County Institute of Technology. Located in Westampton, the campus is one of two high schools in the district, along with the Medford campus.

William R. Fleischman Jr. was an American sports journalist. During the 1960s, he worked at The News Journal and the Burlington County Times after graduating from Gettysburg College. He reported for the Philadelphia Daily News from 1969 to 2005, and eventually became its assistant sports editor. During the 1970s, he wrote regularly on the Philadelphia Flyers when the team won two Stanley Cups, and co-authored a biography for the team's goaltender Bernie Parent. Fleischman also served as president of the Professional Hockey Writers' Association from 1979 to 1981, and was president of the Philadelphia Sports Writers Association from 1990 to 1992. He was a regular attendee for NASCAR events and co-authored several editions of The Unauthorized NASCAR Fan Guide. In addition to newspaper work, he taught journalism at the University of Delaware for 28 years, was a commentator for a sports talk show on Comcast, and was the historian for the Delaware Sports Museum and Hall of Fame.
