Hotel Indigo is an American chain of small, individually owned boutique hotels, which is part of IHG Hotels & Resorts (InterContinental Hotels Group). As of September 2023 it had 149 hotels with 19,529 rooms worldwide, and stated that it planned to open 129 more. [1]

The first Hotel Indigo opened in Atlanta, Georgia, US in October 2004 [2] and a second location opened in the historic Gold Coast neighborhood of Chicago, Illinois in May 2005 (later being foreclosed and re-branding as the Claridge House). [3] The chain's first non-US property, which in 2017 became the independent Metcalfe Hotel, [4] was opened in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada.

In July 2019 at the Traverse City, Michigan Hotel Indigo, a murder-suicide took place in room 318, blocks away from the National Cherry Festival. [5]

Hotel Indigo Taipei North is a hotel on Zhifu Road, Zhongshan District, Taipei, Taiwan. In 2016 it became part of the Hotel Indigo chain. It was invested and constructed by Yonghong Group and entrusted by the InterContinental Hotel Group to operate and manage it under the Hotel Indigo brand. It is the ninth business base of InterContinental Hotel in Taiwan and the third Indigo brand hotel. With a total of 149 rooms, the hotel started trial operations on January 1, 2020, and officially opened on February 12, 2020. The lower floors of the building houses a shopping center Chun Place, which opened in September 2020.
