The Iowa Hawkeyes swimming and diving team represents the University of Iowa in NCAA men's and women's swimming and diving. The teams compete at Campus Recreation and Wellness Center in Iowa City. Marc Long is the head coach of both the men's and women's swimming teams. Todd Waikel is the head diving coach.

The Iowa Swimming and Diving program competes in Campus Recreation and Wellness Center located on the east side of the Iowa campus.

The Iowa Field House is a multi-purpose arena in Iowa City, Iowa. Opened in 1927, it held up to 13,365 people at its height. At one time, it housed all Iowa athletic teams and coaching offices before the construction of additional facilities, most notably Carver-Hawkeye Arena. The Field House was a regional site for the NCAA basketball tournament four times, in 1954, 1956, 1964 and 1966. The Iowa Wrestling team hosted the 1959 NCAA Division I Wrestling Championships at the Field House.

Artur Wojdat is a former international and collegiate swimmer from Poland, who won the bronze medal in the men's 400 meter freestyle at the 1988 Summer Olympics in Seoul, South Korea. He also competed at the 1992 Summer Olympics in Barcelona, Spain. He came to the 1988 Seoul Olympics as the world record holder in the 400 meter freestyle event. In the final he beat his world record time, but managed to only finish third behind Uwe Dassler and Duncan Armstrong.

The Auburn Tigers swimming and diving program is Auburn University's representative in the sport of swimming and diving. The Tigers compete in the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division 1 and are members of the Southeastern Conference (SEC). The Iowa State Cyclones women's swimming and diving team represents Iowa State University (ISU) and competes in the Big 12 Conference of NCAA Division I. The team is coached by Duane Sorenson, who has led Iowa State since the 1997-98 season. The Cyclones host their home meets at Beyer Pool on Iowa State's campus.
