Miss International 2004, the 44th Miss International pageant, was held on October 16, 2004 at the Workers Indoor Arena in Beijing, China. This is the first time event to be held in China for contest was being held outside of Japan and the United States are headquarter's homecountry. 58 contestants from all over the world competed for the crown. Miss International 2003, Goizeder Azua of Venezuela, crowned her successor Jeymmy Vargas of Colombia as the new Miss International. [1]

The Miss Venezuela is the national beauty pageant of Venezuela, traditionally held in September. It is preceded by two or three months of preliminary events, with the awarding of corporate prizes. Precious Lara Quigaman of the Philippines crowned her successor Daniela Di Giacomo of Venezuela.

Jeymmy Vargas of Colombia crowned her successor Lara Quigaman of the Philippines as the new Miss International. She became the fourth Filipino to win the pageant.

Paulina Gálvez of Colombia was crowned at the end of the event, becoming the second titleholder from her country to win Miss International.

Miss Venezuela 2015 was the 62nd edition of the Miss Venezuela pageant held on October 8, 2015 at the Estudio 1 de Venevision in Caracas, Venezuela, after weeks of events. Outgoing titleholder Mariana Jiménez of Guárico crowned Mariam Habach of Lara as her successor.

Miss Venezuela 2017 was the 64th edition of the Miss Venezuela held on November 9, 2017 at the Estudio 5 de Venevisión in Caracas, Venezuela. At the end of the event, outgoing titleholder Keysi Sayago of Monagas crowned Sthefany Gutiérrez of Delta Amacuro as her successor.
