Tring is an Albanian satellite and terrestrial digital platform. The company operates in the domain of media, TV broadcasting, telecommunication, while offering internet, telephone and TV services, terrestrial and satellite and also My Tring IPTV in Albania and throughout the world.

History

Tring started out in 2006 with the establishment of Albanian Satellite Communications, a Tirana-based private company. Tring TV was established in 2008 and its shares were entirely owned by Albanian investors. Tring offers a unique TV experience thanks to its variety of channels for the whole family and its productions, which are one hundred percent Albanian. Tring is part of Concord Investment Group, one of the largest groups in the country.

1. Living channel

It's a TV channel part of Tring platform. Living mainly targets female viewers, broadcasting everything which has to do with lifestyle. With its TV channel, magazine and internet page, Living is a brand of its own. Living launched its website in 2012. This page is also present in social media such as Facebook, Instagram or Twitter.

2. Living Magazine

Living Magazine came out at the same time as Living channel started to broadcast. It's a seasonal magazine targeting mainly women. In this magazine, readers will find information on how to improve their lifestyle and advice on interior and exterior home designs, cooking and beauty tips. This magazine is published four times a year.

3. Living Portal

Living.al portal is the most diverse and complete online page in the Albanian language. At Living, there is interesting information for all age groups.

Products and Services

Tring now offers several products at the same time and the goal is to make life easier and offer unlimited entertainment thanks to advanced services offered by the terrestrial and satellite platform, My Tring IPTV, the next generation TV and high speed internet services.

Tring TV introduced a new wave on the Albanian screen, by promoting it in a unique and original way, making it more and more attractive for the public.

What makes Tring successful is the content of the programs it offers to its customers.

Today, Tring offers:

-32 channels on its terrestrial Platform.

-50 channels on its satellite Platform.

-100 channels on its IPTV platform.

-100 channels on its mobile service (OTT, My Tring IPTV Mobile).

Channels have been listed based on their program content.

Tring has created three channels which are entirely dedicated to children and teenagers, who are the most precious viewers of the platform and for whom a lot has been invested each year. Original productions for Tring Tring, Tip TV and Kids, which have a didactic and entertaining character, turned Tring into the entertainment platform for all Albanian children who live overseas.

Tring launched Living channel. It's a TV channel dedicated entirely to lifestyle. Living mainly targets female viewers, broadcasting everything which has to do with lifestyle.

Channels which are dedicated to soap operas and the latest premiers are also part of Tring. Jolly HD, 3 Plus, Kanal D broadcast many famous productions Mostly Turkish, Mexican and Spanish productions.

Three channels dedicated to documentaries. Tring History, Tring Planet, Tring World are now everyone's encyclopaedia by offering information and facts on every domain of life.

Tring TV has created many channels which are dedicated to the world of movies and TV shows (Tring Super HD, Tring Action HD, Tring Life, Tring Comedy, Tring Fantasy, Tring Shqip) with a wide range of genres with Albanian and foreign productions.

Tring also has music channels, such as Click TV featuring hits from the ‘80s, ‘90s and 2000s. Folk Plus features Albanian music and Albanian folk, by taking our tradition everywhere Albanians live. BBF, Elrodi TV and Tirana TV also feature Albanian hits.

Smile is dedicated to the family. It is a channel which features sketches and comedy shows such as “Al Pazar” and “Apartamenti 2XL”. Other successful productions such as “3shat” or “Familja Kuqezi” sitcom, which has grasped the largest audience of all times, were also part of this channel.

Five sport HD channels, Tring Sport News HD, Tring Sport 1 HD, Tring Sport 2 HD, Tring Sport 3 HD, Tring Sport 4 HD are also part of the diverse Tring bouquet along with a channel dedicated to subscribers and those who want to be part of this large family, by informing them on the programs, services, offers and the latest news (Info Channel).

Now, Tring platform has an entirely new image. The change is felt everywhere, in every channel and is accompanied by a richer content than ever before.

Services in MyTring IPTV

On Demand : Tring's On Demand service offers a rich library of events in your home, updated with thousands of shows and programs to be watched whenever you want and not at a given time, as it's the case with TV shows. Movies, TV shows, documentaries, children's programs, sport and Tring's exclusive productions in a rich catalogue.

Multiscreen : Through this service, you can watch your favourite program in several screens: TV, PC, iPad and mobile phone. This is the way Tring enables you to watch My Tring IPTV everywhere, at any time, in any device and in the way you want it.

DVR: Your decoder can register different programs or events, enabling you to view them whenever you like. This service allows you to record up to four shows at the same time, so that none of the family members misses his favourite show.

EPG: The electronic guide provides you with updated information over the content of the programs which are on air and the ones to be shown. EPG also provides information on the program such as the content, actors, gender, time when the program will be shown and its duration.

Channel block: This service enables viewers to block unwanted channels. The viewer can include the channels he wishes on the list.

Favourite List: This service enables the creation of a list with favourite channels. This list can be created by the decoder.

Pause Live TV network: This service enables the viewer to pause a program and watch it later at the moment he has paused it.  This way, the viewer doesn't have to watch the show from the start.

Broadcast and Technology

Since its launch, Tring started out with the SD (Standard-definition), Opentech ODS 3000C. In 2012, Tring implemented HDTV (High Definition Television) technology with a KSF-S660HDCO type decoder. In 2014, Tring moved into the MPEG-4 satellite platform, offering its customers maximum quality of sound and picture, which also led to an increase of the number of channels for Tring customers. In 2015, Tring TV launched the My Tring IPTV decoder, which is the cutting-edge technology. A multifunctional decoder offering many interactive functions such as PVR, Timeshift, VOD, Multiscreen, Pause Live TV Network, EPG. This decoder does not need a terrestrial antenna or a satellite dish, because all channels can be accessed through internet and through several devices at the same time.

Television in Albania was first introduced in 1960. RTSH dominated the Albanian broadcasting field up to the mid-1990s, a period when privately owned radio and TV stations started to occupy the vast empty Albanian frequencies.

Radio Televizioni Shqiptar is the public broadcaster of Albania, founded in 1938 in Tirana.

Television in Serbia was introduced in 1956. It remains the most popular of the media in Serbia—according to 2009 survey, Serbian people watch on average 6 hours of television per day, making it the highest average in Europe.

Television in Italy was introduced in 1939, when the first experimental broadcasts began. However, this lasted for a very short time: when fascist Italy entered World War II in 1940 all transmissions were interrupted, and were resumed in earnest only nine years after the end of the conflict, on January 3, 1954.

Television in Spain was launched in October 1956, when the state broadcaster Televisión Española (TVE) started regular broadcasts. The first private channels started in 1990. Colour transmissions started in 1972 after two years of test transmissions, with all programming transmitted in color from 1977, and colour commercials, which started in 1978. DigitAlb Albanian broadcast media company

DigitAlb is an Albanian media, digital satellite and terrestrial TV platform based in Tirana, Albania. The TV platform began terrestrial broadcasts in July 2004, and satellite broadcasts by the end of that year. At the same time, DigitAlb began broadcasting some channels of defunct AlbaniaSat's satellite platform SAT + which eventually went bankrupt. DigitAlb closely collaborates with sports package SuperSport while having introduced wireless DVB-H technology for wireless TV for the first time in Albania since 2006. The company forms part of Top Media Group together with Top Channel, Top Albania Radio, Top Gold Radio, Gazeta Shqip, Shqip Magazine, Top News, VGA Studio, My Music Radio, and musicAL. In Europe, Digitalb will broadcast until 2020 on Eutelsat.

Television in Kosovo was first introduced in 1974.

eMedia Network, Inc. (EWN) is an American-based media company that markets and distributes various international television and radio services to ethnic viewers in North America as well as Australia & New Zealand. It was founded in February 2005 and is based in San Diego, California.

Television in Bosnia and Herzegovina was first introduced in 1956. Out of 94 TV stations, 71 are commercial, 20 are public, while 3 public services are funded through subscription.

ABC News (Albanian TV channel) Albanian news and satellite television channel

ABC News is an Albanian pay television channel that is owned by Media 6. It was founded in 2010 by Albanian media businessman Aleksandër Frangaj on the frequency of the defunct Italian-Albanian channel Telenorba Shqiptare. It is part of the Klan media group, together with TV Klan and Klan Kosova.

SUPER TV is the first Bosnian IPTV provider, owned by LOGOSOFT.

Eva Murati Albanian actress and TV host

Eva Murati is an Albanian actress and TV host. Starting her career at the age of 15, she made herself known in Albanian showbiz through different commercials and modeling jobs. Eva hosted her first TV program Antilope in 2013 and then she co-hosted with Adi Krasta Duartrokitje, both of them at Agon Channel. She then moved to Vizion Plus in 2016 where she hosted Miss Universe Albania and VIP Zone. She is currently hosting the Studio UEFA Champions League and Sports Week at Tring Sport. Murati debuted in film in The Outlaw in 2013. She then starred in 2017 in Ti mund të më quash Xhon. In 2016 she starred in the TV series Skanderbeg. Her most recent project is Familja Kuqezi which is currently filming.

Tring Sport

Tring Sport is part of the Tring terrestrial & satellite platform. In 2010, 4 sports channels were born with the aim of broadcasting sports events on the existing Tring platform. From 2015 Tring Sport broadcasts on 5 channels only in HD quality. The channels broadcast a range of different sports such as UEFA Champions League, English Premier League, Primeiera League, Austrian Bundesliga, Jupiler Pro League, SPFL Championship, Raiffeisen Super League, UEFA Europa League, FIA Formula E and Albanian Gladiator Championship.
