Wisconsin International University College, Ghana is a private university in the Greater Accra Region of Ghana. It was established in January 2000 [1] and is accredited by the National Accreditation Board as a university college and affiliated to the University of Ghana, University of Cape Coast, the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology and University for Development Studies. [2]

History

In 1992, Wisconsin International University was established. The first campus was established in Tallinn, Estonia as Concordia International University Estonia. In 1997, Wisconsin International University Ukraine was founded in Kyiv.

The KNUST Department of Planning (DOP) is one of the academic departments at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology in Kumasi, Ghana. It is under the College of Art and Built Environment, specifically under the Faculty of Built Environment. The department offers undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in the award of a degree. It is the only institution in Ghana professionally recognized by its government to train personnel to promote, coordinate and manage development at the national and sub-national levels.

It was established in 1966 by independent Christian missionaries from the United States. It is located at Amrahia in the Adentan Municipality in the Greater Accra Region of Ghana. The initial purpose of establishing the university was to train missionary workers in Sub-Saharan Africa. The first and main program offered was Theological studies.
